Just as cool as when he takes them for us. Couldn't be any happier for the man and the Brazilians seem to be taking to him now too, slowly but surely. Just the work rate and grit seems to be much appreciated, not to mention the fabulous goal scoring ability.

I think you might find yourself at the dizzy heights of 3 pence. This is Igors second penatly goal in a friendly I believe?

(I know this as an excited 66/1 Igor golden boot backer at the world cup! - massive value if he can nail down the spot!)

An excellent performance by Igor. A (sort of) assist for Rayan's goal. Wins and scores the penalty. Also did some good defensive work. The Brazilian commentators thought they looked better with all the reserves on in the second half.

Ancellotti clearly likes him and I think he'll get some game time in the World Cup.

Gotta be one of the most likeable players in football. Always laughing, passionate and hard-working.
I remember the photo someone posted over a year ago, of meeting him in a supermarket, when he was injured and in a mobility scooter and even then he had a massive grin on his face.

For me, already have to say he’s in my favourite bees XI of all time. Long may he carry on scoring for us

Yep ordered mine on Monday and expecting delivery either today or tomorrow so 10 days is a very conservative estimate

Considerably less at certain unofficial outlets - mine was £ 18 delivered including name, number, gold world cup winners sleeve patch and the other sleeve patch, use them all the time and quality is undetectable, takes around 2 weeks usually

I got home and away shirts from DHGate about £13 each, they look and feel great quality but not washed yet. Not sure if they are a bit dodgy/illegal for full throated recommendations on here. They take 2-3 weeks to arrive too.

Oh, that's something quite special. You can tell how much his family means to him. You can also see it in every celebration after a goal. A very humble man.

I thought its slightly strange that his family haven't come over to watch any of his games in the PL. The money is there now for a 2 day all round trip paid by him. However, I clearly know f*** all about their arrangements and circumstances etc.

He's been having a nightmare with British Airways trying to fly her over, he's even offered to pay double.

It's affected him all season and it's totally not his fault, its why when he scores he always does that gesture pointing to himself saying "the reason I'm not seeing my Mum, it's not my fault it's British Airways planes" and points up to the sky.

He's furious with them.

I've been reliably informed that Okay Jerseys do reasonably undetectable knockoffs at bargain prices. Not used them myself and looking and the small percentage of negative reviews, you might have a long wait or have a parcel lost in transit from the Far East but they do resend you one if that happens.

Brazil fans are doing fan art and memes about Igor Thiago. They are calling him and Rayan and Endrick the skinny dogs, which is a good thing not insulting because they are the street dogs who are hungry to make their mark. Also those three are REI, meaning kings and they want them to get Brazil the hexa, their sixth World Cup.

It does make me worry that Brazilian World Cup fever could turn very nasty very fast about Igor Thiago if he does something they don’t like.

Personally I’m not too worried about the transfer talk. I think he’ll be with us next season

I think he'll be here for one more year minimum and hopefully 2 or 3 more. But here's my reasons for why he wont leave just yet.

1. Loyalty - yes this concept isnt what it should be in the modern game, but for Thiago I think he is loyal, anyone can see how much he is enjoying the journey, the fans and the support. We’ve supported him incredibly well, that whole first year showed him that.

2. If he goes to a "big club" will he get guaranteed maximum minutes and starting every match like he does with us? Most places he would have to share his place or at least have a rival and risk less minutes and development. Sometimes best to be the biggest fish in a smaller pond.

Better for him to stay, develop, build upon his first PL season. He'll also increase his earning power if he moves closer to his peak. Rather than banking it mid way.

3. The sales fee has to be very high to make it work and profit be worthwhile. Everyone focuses on the sales price but it the net profit that’s the key thing. We have to net enough profit after what we paid and sell on fee to make it worthwhile to replace our star striker. AND the practicalities and risk of sorting a replacement at that level. A very good replacement will cost an awful lot.

Numbers wise, surely it has to be £100m plus surely to make Phil say yes?

If we took £80m....
£80m less £30m paid
Less sell on clause of 10% conservatively, less another £8m
So we've cleared about £40 after al that other costs...
£40m might get you a good player but not a top level PL ready one of his level.

So at that level doesn't feel it sets us up well.

And I’m not sure who would pay £100m after one full PL season.
