Fair and no argument from me.
I'm still unhappy about losing my points etc which clouds my overall perspective. I'll get over it.
And yes ST holders shouldn't have an absolute right.
But I'm with
@rebus on an element of this, ST holders are there through thick and thin, doesnt give them rights, but they commit each season, through thick and thin, promotions and relegations. I love that we are attracting loads of new fans young an old.......... But and IMO there is a big but. We have only known good times for 15 years. Lets see what happens if god forbid we face a downturn in fortunes.................. One thing is for certain, the ST holders who i suspect you reference and many others like them will be here. I hope the newer ones and members will be as well. And if a small percentage are then great, and the good times were worth it.
But i bet you one thing ................................. I would wager that a good number of them wont be. I suspect we would fall back under the 10K fans very quickly.
That IMO and i guess how Rebus feels is why ST holders are important. The more they are chipped away at the less likely they are to give a fek in the long term. Trust me im not as long in the tooth as some on here, but my passion has dipped a little.
Just my opinion mate.
Away game at Arsenal in the league tomorrow (who would have thought we could say that many moons ago). I hope to see many ST holders and members long term and new, young and old there.
The whole debate isnt needed. As this thread shows there is never an issue for tickets if you really want one.
