Ivan Toney
I think we need a rating system for the potential outgoings, in the same way we have Tenuous Link / Rumour / Strong Rumour for the potential targets. This one definitely has the feel of a Tenuous Link to me!
Yeah but Bissett probably put half of those on a plate for him. Gary was often through on goal and squared it to Dean for a tap in.Dean Holdsworth for me. 38 goals in our promotion season and was able to replicate being a consistent, top goalscorer in the top division for a side that didn't score truckloads.
We didnt sell Raya to ArsenalWe don’t need the oracle banana to answer this one! Brentford will sell any and every player if they meet the valuation. Only staff off limits are PG and Winnie.
I ask you tho, what are you doing with that 45 million? We have to make a statement here and set it at 50-60 million because I think if we lose Toney our chances of going down increase a hell of a lot. Clubs then know we have 45 million to spend from the Toney transfer and we get priced out of the market trying to replace him because we wont pay over the odds, with just a couple of weeks until the season begins. We start the season with Halil upfront instead....£45 Million and I reckon we would let him go, is anyone going to pay that?

I think it's a case of him giving us 1 more season, help us get in the top half and then we sell him at just 27 years old for 50+mill at end of next season.
I thought they would be like a pair of Woodpeckers.Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez?
Ivan and Bryan.I thought they would be like a pair of Woodpeckers.
Who is/was your favourite celeb couple if you don't mind me asking?
Clearly you’ve got nothing better to do yourself then…How do people keep falling for this click bait b***ocks? Its exhausting just watching you panic. God knows how exhausted you must be worrying about it. Particularly in this heat.
We don't need £45m, we need a front man/striker like Ivan Toney. £45m isn't enough. All I said was IMO we would accept £45 Million, my opinion only
Who's falling for it?How do people keep falling for this click bait b***ocks?
Oh...Sorry about the "utter tosh" mate !Sorry but that's utter tosh IMHO.
He is brilliant, first on the team sheet every week and easily the second best striker we've ever had in my lifetime.
He's also absolutely pivotal to how we play and we've been exceedingly fortunate that he's been virtually ever-present and in form for two seasons now (since he got up and running). Safe to say that without him we wouldn't be where we are today and would have to completely change how we play.
Having said all that I personally thought at the tail end of last season he was beginning to look a little jaded/disinterested and didn't seem as up for it.
Whether he was burnt out or the constant pressure of being 'the one' I don't know but hopefully he'll be re-charged and up for it when the season starts.
I appreciate it's all '****-face' bo11ocks but I personally think he is exactly what Man Utd need in their re-build.
Of course Ivan'd jump at it (who wouldn't?); loads of money, instant world fame and adulation and in the England squad for the WC.
And of course they can afford the £50/£60 million but I just don't think he's the type of marquee signing they go for these days.
Thankfully, for us, I just don't think it will happen.
???
Probably hasn’t changed. I doubt the club ever tells players what their valuation is. Or that that valuation is at all low for players we want to keep.Banana and NLB and others know far better than I, however it is my understanding that when players join us, or resign, or move from B to first team squad, they are told that the Club won't stand in their way if offers come in that meet the Club's valuation.
Maybe this isn't so or has changed since our promotion.
Wet Spam are apparently trying to sign Broja from Chelsea. I think you can file any Ivan ∼ Saïd idea down to WHU fans wishing.Ivan to West Ham for £12m + benrhama is what the dildo brothers will open up with.
WHUFC mate of mine reckons was a “done deal” when we played them at BCS. He has had prior ITK insight on previous West Ham dealings, haven’t a clue how. But I’m calling Bollo on this one.
That's worth £42 M. Just cus wet spam bought Benrahma at £30 mil doesn't mean he's still worth that. Toneys worth silly money right now £60m ?? So 42mil + benrahma maybeIvan to West Ham for £12m + benrhama is what the dildo brothers will open up with.

I think teams in the bottom half of the PL (which is us, for now) look to sell experienced players to the top 6 rather than to league rivals, unless there is a burning desire for a sideways move for some reason. We don't need £45m, we need a front man/striker like Ivan Toney. £45m isn't enough.
I think the 'yellow one' was quite right in his view—he'll only be sold in this window if someone pays silly money. £45m isn't silly money.
We don't want to sell Ivan Toney at the moment, but we will if someone makes us an offer 'we can't refuse' and that will be a lot more than £45m IMO.
That would make zero sense in light of our summer business! We've just replaced Said, again...Ivan to West Ham for £12m + benrhama is what the dildo brothers will open up with.

Not sure we agree what that valuation is with the player and as a small selling club everyone has a price we would sell at.Banana and NLB and others know far better than I, however it is my understanding that when players join us, or resign, or move from B to first team squad, they are told that the Club won't stand in their way if offers come in that meet the Club's valuation.

Does seem to me that one of ITs huge strengths is that he pulls attention away from other team members who benefit from space and shooting time. IT (and BM) has/have been a huge handful for most PL defences to handle.IT May have scored 12? goals last season how many of those were penalties? If clubs want a striker they want a striker who can score regularly from open play. In my opinion until IT can do that in the PL that with us thats a risk so called big clubs may not be willing to take.
I certainly don't think he's yet made an outstanding case to play for a much better side purely on the basis of his scoring record. You may disagree.IT May have scored 12? goals last season how many of those were penalties? If clubs want a striker they want a striker who can score regularly from open play. In my opinion until IT can do that in the PL that with us thats a risk so called big clubs may not be willing to take.
Five from open play?IT May have scored 12? goals last season how many of those were penalties? If clubs want a striker they want a striker who can score regularly from open play. In my opinion until IT can do that in the PL that with us thats a risk so called big clubs may not be willing to take.
We didn’t create as many chances as we should have before Eriksen arrived because of injuries and lack of creative midfield options.IT May have scored 12? goals last season how many of those were penalties? A rehash of an old saying -I hate this thread already ?
The worst thing about it is that Leeds are supposedly interested? .. f***ing Leeds?? ? .. ?

They briefly talked about IT being a potential target for MU, on TalkSport last night.
The presenter said that he would expect us to hold out for 40+million so didn't see it as a viable option.
If Newcastle came in, offering us 50+million then I am sure we'd accept it, I have no doubts we have a couple of potential replacements lined up, for a fraction of that.
And, before those, how has a vague tweet about 2 clubs "weighing up a bid" generated over 300 posts of absolute twaddle. The questions that need answering.
Has his value been met - or better still exceeded ?
does the player want to go?
how long is left on his contract?
have we or can we adequately replace him before he goes?
does the timing suit us?
are we strengthening a rival?
Hoping to generate the sell on to his club PBoro ASAP then.....?That dick Durham has it as his opening headline on his show on Talkshite

Yep . Didn’t listen turned the dickhead off after that headline . What a complete cock womblle he isHoping to generate the sell on to his club PBoro ASAP then.....?
Who was he looking to whore IT out to? Or wasn't he bothered....??......
Would accept 40 million plus what they owe us and Benrahma.Ivan to West Ham for £12m + benrhama is what the dildo brothers will open up with.

Perhaps this is why Halil is more in the picture all of a sudden ... but equally likely this is 2 + 2 = 5 !!! ?
What’s the point of this thread. Brentford won’t accept £30m and no club is paying £40m+.
Yeah but Bissett probably put half of those on a plate for him. Gary was often through on goal and squared it to Dean for a tap in.
Halil is as much in the picture as he has ever been, a few half games in pre season before he goes on loan.
I don’t actually know what putting him more in the picture actually consists of? If we gave him the no9 shirt and played him the whole 90 mins and left Toney on the bench I still wouldn’t think it any more than messing about in a friendly.
I said £45 Millionall I will say is ake for 50m. The money is out there, we always get what we want and IT for 4m would be laughable.
I believe that to end true, I also believe that number will be 50-60m
Its not even that Brentford want £40mill - its again an opinion from a journalist![]()
Brentford want at least £40m for Man Utd and Newcastle target Ivan Toney
Toney is one of a number of strikers just below the top tier of established internationals who have had huge price tags applied to them this summerinews.co.uk
We want £40 mil no offers yet
Indeed. Its not even that Brentford want £40mill - its again an opinion from a journalist
How much would we accept if you said a silly amount say 50 or 60 ?Indeed.
