Gutted.... Reading.....Nooooooo

Wasn`t over pleased with him going to reading but it could have been worse - he might have gone to Scum to fill the gap left by Rowlands (Out for the season - Oh Dear,How Sad Never Mind :) )

Jay Tabb

Not in squad for tonights game, hope he gets in the team wasted as a bit player

Jay Tabb

I can't see him getting in the side until Stevie Hunt or James Harper moves on, then he might get a chance.

WEB,

Collina was possibly the 'best' but tbf, DG was a good referee who was pretty consistent, was not over fussy and tried to let games flow. He never 'brandished' cards in a triumphalistic manner either and seemed to be the type of ref who wanted to go through a game unnoticed ie: the best type of ref. Not to say he hasn't made mistakes -who hasn't - but with him I always felt they were genuine & not a reaction to crowd or player pressure.

He also seems to be a completely pleasant & genuine bloke who willingly officiates at supporters' matches, friendlies etc.

Imo, an 'old school' referee and that is meant as a compliment. I wish there were more like him about.

His comments in the gazette said he wanted a move to QPR. :(

In the unlikely event that FIFA gave us dispensation to break the transfer window rule, and we had the (top end) six figure sum to buy him, and Scott had the gall, to break the "imposed" wage ceiling, and offer him double what we were paying any other player.....

WHY WOULD YOU PLAY HIM IN THE GODDAMN MIDDLE ??????

We could play a revolutionary new "WW" formation 4-1-4-1 with two wingers on either side of the pitch. Three of the four would run up and down the channels as decoys, like headless chickens on speed, with the fourth firing crosses into a centre forward who's the smallest player on the pitch... the oppo wouldn't know what to do

Tabby was great in the middle when he played for us giving him that free role numpty

I think the question that would need to be asked would be, who would you not play to accommodate him?

And another question is why is it a team as completely poo as reading who have managed little more than one win and 2 goals in about 6 months want to loan out a quality player.

That new manager must be a right prat, not only are they still going backwards but he is looking to farm out tabb.

I hate reading.... good on him!

unused sub yesterday, gutted for him. whatever happened to Jay Tabb, Brentford Legend and Coventry Player of the Season 2008/9

bit confused by Smiffy's remark. he'd be a good central midfielder, you berk

Jay Tabb

Would be nice to get him back in Centre Midfield, but i cannot see it unfortunately, deserves better than a place on the subs bench.

surely you must have realised by now smiffy knows nothing about football! lol

tabb was great in the middle as well as on the wing. a free roll suits him best.

I think at the time, I deemed our central midfield "fit for purpose" and diagnosed problems up front and out wide, rather than in the "engine room ! :sorted:

Jay Tabb

no matter where he plays in the middle or wide he will be very effective if fully fit

Not even on the bench for their 3 nil defeat last night. Now second from bottom so looking good.I think Tabster has been injured? Before he was being played at right back.Would he like to get some games under his belt in the real home of football?

Why not offer Reading a cheeky bid of £25K to take him off their hands..........:fishing:

No chance though.........:(
