Jay Tabb

Legend favourite player ever

God knows why he'd drop down to L1 when he's a Championship-standard player! Who knows though, some of Swansea's and Norwich's players have performed beyond expectation in the EPL.

Although true, I believe he wouldn't excel in the premier league.
I also think the new owner has a few 'bigger' players in mind. And also, Tabb is injury prone, might swing it when it comes to having to name just 25 players in their squad.

Jay Tabb

Now might not be the time but surely one day he will return to GP if it feels right for himand us. Doubt he'd come here just for a wage in his final playing days. Think he'd come to really contribute meaningfully while he still could. Couple of years maybe?

Jay Tabb

On the bench yesterday - hope he gets on to say he's played in the Premier League soon. Would love to see him in one of his 50:50 low centre of gravity challenges where he comes away with the ball against someone who is twice his size.

good to see him, even if he didn't do much in their highlights!

Ah Tabby... Still a chance to further his Bees Legendarynessism by helping his team get three points on Saturday. COYR(oyals).

Jay Tabb

If he scores the winner next weekend he will be held in either higher regard by Bees fans.

Starts for Reading tonight in the Capital One Cup at home to Arsenal.

Starting against QPR today. Do 'em Tabby!!

Jay Tabb

Just been called "the best player on the pitch" by Chris Coleman at half time. Hope he keeps it up for the second 45.

A goal would just cap it off.

Had a job to do and he did it.
Really hope Reading stay up, and pray that QPR finish bottom.
Anyone know who would be likely to replace Hughes if Fernandes pulls the rug from under him? I can't believe Redknapp would get back into the mix with that club.

I think its the sort of job Redknapp would love-effectively an unlimited wallet, so he can sign players to get them out of trouble (and enjoy the other perks of signing players wink wink).

However-if they still go down, SURELY they would be financially screwed? The owners would get bored, and theyd be stuck with plenty of 3 year 80k a week contracts.

Redknapp could therefore be the best or worst thing to happen to them if they sack Hughes.

I just think he would want to manage in front of bigger crowds, but I agree the rest of it makes sense if you can call it that. Tony Fernandes is a knob.
Southampton is on his doorstep and they have different owners now, but he'd rip the heart out of their current setup.

surely he'd not be even remotely discussed - he did an awful job there last time and helped their hated local rivals considerably. the fans would revolt if he was announced.

.............another start against Swansea today...........

Jay Tabb

i watched Tabby tonight for reading. Unfortunately he was awful. Misplace passes, poor control, excrement ineffective.

Jay Tabb

Has he had a growth spurt since he left Brentford? It says on tinternet he is 5 foot 7 inches tall.

How tall was he when he played for us?

Jay Tabb

Just to say, great to see Tabby starting against man utd in the prem today. Top player that doesn't deserve it more :sorted:
