Charles and Osbourne are our best bets from the youth team and obviously alot of noise being made about KCD. Peters and Ide both look like they need beafing up and Peters coming back from injury will be a major test for the lad

Does anyone remember Ben Burgess - I thought he was rather good when he played for us - he came on for Blackpool for the last part of the game against Millwall and played a blinder - Blackpool bought him for 25k - thats ridiculas money why could n't we push the boat out and give Jo Kuffour someone to play with ??????????

I knew of Jo before he joined Brentford in the summer, he was always a good footballer. Didn't expect him to look as dangerous infront of goal as he has, keep it up Jo. But im not sure if he's ever broken double figures, keep it up though Jo. He gets on very well with Leroy too which is a bonus for us!

NO. with the money we have received for our three quality players(pocket money) we would be better off keeping him. You only have to look at todays attendance, to see we need a star at GP to improve this abysmal gate. this board have bugeted on6,600 ave. Now can anyone see where I was coming from in the close season. The only way to improve the gate is the product. by that I mean product on the pitch. Not the sh*tty beefburgers.

So we're discussing our goal scoring sensation Jo and you pipe up with Burgess, who we know we can't afford and isn't what we need anyway as doesn't score enough goals and represents a huge risk given his injury record.
That aside re yesterdays, he came on to presumably change things, didn't score or affect the result but apparently played a blinder....pray tell, who is of the opinion that he played a blinder?

Thought we'd seen the back of you when MA left, don't hurry back!

I agree that we have to develope Kuffour into an asset for the club and what I mean by that is getting him on a longer contract with out a get out clause for him if a suitable bid comes in for him. What we can`t have is him walking for nothing.

I have seen enough to suggest he is worth two years and even Moore, who I think would benefit immensely from having Lloyd back.

We need to fund our losses by selling players and finding new gems or coaching youngsters into gems.

We always have sh*te gates during the summer school holiday period. Yesterday we also clashed with a big RU festival at Twickenham that saw the return of Harlequins to the big time.

I think we will now see a series of decent gates through September with the visits of Swansea, Luton and Bournemouth. Whether the gates stay up in the longer term will depend on results and performances.

What we cant do is have club officials getting angry a la Noades and complaining about gates. One legacy that MA left was to put a positive spin on all levles of support that we get.
