:eek::eek::eek:

saunder maybe, but taylor :nono: chases it but does bugger else

:sigh: He is stuggling for us but was Carlisles payer of the year last season and was excellent at S****horpe in the Championship. He is a good player just not shown it for us yet.

And has provided moment of the season so far for me

Taylor has had chances to shine but hasn't taken them. He may have played well for Carlisle and Scunny but when playing for us he has shown little ability and much less enthusiasm than the heavily criticised Ricky Shakes with whom he has often been compared.

I wouldn't be surprised, or disappointed, if he is transferred out in January.

Saunders hasn't yet shown his D&R form but IMHO offers more to the team. He could also benefit from a confidence injection.

Any day now I would have thought as the one month is up.

Chronicle reporting today that deal is done & he will be in the squad for Mk on sat

Is teh Chronny bold enough to venture how long for?

John Bostock

Looks promising for a season long loan.

Could mean Taylor or Saunders out on loan at least.

John Bostock

..............good stuff.....................

John Bostock

Bostocks loan is up before Saturday (unless extended).
Szczesny & Balkestein's both finish after Saturday (unless extended)

Balkestein seems more likely than Szczesny to have their loan extended.

John Bostock

I'd be surprised if we dont get Szczesny until the end of the season. He wont get first team football at Arsenal so he may as well stay here to learn, get experience and play competitive football.

I'd be over the moon, but expect him to pop up at a championship club after us.

Bit of a dilemna is young Bostock, undoubted talent but simple fact is we looked better when Saunders came on.

Maybe he is not quite ready for League footie?

He's ready alright....but won't set the world alight every game.

John Bostock

Brilliant touches but the red mist came down too and AS did well to take him off

John Bostock

Some excellent control and a couple of superb passes, but gets dispossessed too often, including in defensive positions, and was at risk of dismissal after one booking for a petulant trip when not getting a free kick, then pulling back an opponent in a similar situation. Sort of thing you probably have to expect from a young player

His best position is probably playing off the main striker in 4-4-2, or as the front man of a three man midfield, but in our current style he has to be in as a wide man, and we definitely looked stronger when Saunders came on

John Bostock

So long and thanks for all the fish today I reckon. Never quite lived up to his early promise imho.

John Bostock

I thought some of his play was simply superb today. His end product isn't always there but his ball retention (horrible words) and skill were up there with Millwall IMO. I doubt we will ever see hin in a Bees shirt again though.

He was brilliant at times today but overall, Millwall was his peak.

John Bostock

Wish we'd been able to get him at the start of the season. His touch and passing ability has been diluted by the condition of the pitches he's has to play on unfortunately. As long as he doesn't go down the David Bentley path, he has a big future IMO.

I've been saying this, these pitches aren't for him. He'd have been unstoppable with a bit more firm to perform on but not as much as the poor lad had at MK where he looked like Bambi on ice.

I've never seen Bambi on ice NB ...giz a clue roflrofl

Oh boo-hoo, poofter. Level paying field.

He's good. Prone to premier-style diving but a good footballer. Don't think he's done enough to warrant a loan in the 2nd division. Needs to toughen up with us 'til May.

Totally agree loads of talent but will need to beef up a bit.At lower league being so young he will be more of a target for northern cloggers who want to take him out of the game.

So much ability it is unreal and he can have a great future in the game but just needs to work on upper body strength.

That'll come though, if he works hard. The lad's a young 18, we've got to remember that. And I do think him playing for us has been a big factor in us playing better. After all, yesterday he played the quick free kick to Charlie (I think!) for the first, his shot led to the second, and a couple of through balls that he played led to other great chance. If he had scored the sitter before half time instead of missing it I think he'd be getting a different report...

A very young 18 indeed....he was 18 on Friday. For his age he is a very very good player !!

John Bostock

Excellent in the other team's half, where his skills and tricks outweigh the odd loss of the ball. When in defence, he needs to learn not to take risks, but at 18 that is a natural and forgivable weakness

Has what it takes to become a very good player

John Bostock

Shame we havent got him all season but an extra month is still very good for us.

John Bostock

I like Bostock, shows real class at times but gives the ball away daftly at others.

It irks me a bit that he would only be with us another month though.

I agree and at the risk of being unpopular, I would let Bostock go rather than keep him for just one more month. I think it would be better to bring another loan signing in for the rest of the season who might possibly be a long term signing. He obviously wants Championship experience.

That's a very good point of view !! And I don't think, from what I have seen that he is near Championship just yet, sorted:

Yeah I agree. In a rosy world we'd also sign some one until the end of the season, or longer, who would have time to adapt to the way the squad plays whilst Bostick sees out his loan. The new boy could then step in seamlessly and score 12 goals before the season is out. :sorted:
I also reckon AS is already games ahead on this one.
