Suarez is one of the best players I have ever seen. and that is a fact. He has a football brain, and seems to react much quicker than others. He anticipates where the ball will end up, he is all over the pitch, a nightmare to mark.and has amazing technique. His type do not come around very often.

No pun intended but his energy and hunger amazes me. Never seems to let up and regardless of the match position, he is always thinking, always making runs and always seems to want more. He is a joy to watch.

I say that because I want to see English players given their head. Jordan Ibe could be the next Suarez for all we know. :shrug: Spanish football gets shown on the tele - I can watch on Sky Sports 5 if I wish.

Did you hear the one about the lad who was at a Premiership club aged 11? Archetypical modern midfielder, good on the ball, could put a foot in, could score a goal. Became reserve team captain, made the bench a few times but every time he thought he would progress, his club brought another foreign midfielder and he was shipped out on loan. Eventually said **** it, I need to play football so dropped down the leagues and luckily is making his way back. Who knows, he may be as good as Wilshire given time. Once upon a day, he would have got his chance .....

Les you are talking rubbish in my opinion.

Why on earth would you want Suarez to leave and play football in another country. You are right in what you say in terms of the Carlos Kickaballs that Alan Sugar used to go on about restricting the development of English players but not one of the best players in the world. So you wouldn't want Messi or Ronaldo or Bale to play in the premiership either? In fact Henry, Zola, Bergkamp etc were all bad imports as well?



In fact extrapolating what you say you only want English players in the premiership? It's not the 1950's.

You're right. I'm being irrational and I'm *depressed about England. I do sometimes hate the Premiership though.

I'd say both Sturridge and Sterling have both benefitted from playing with Suarez and will continue to do so. Since they both represent two of the few positives out of this latest World Cup debacle I hope Suarez does stick around the premiership for a while.

Not that I advocate seriously injuring someone but can you imagine if it was the other way round and Rooney or Sturridge had knee surgery 5 weeks ago, the Uruguay defenders would have been sniping & kicking from the first few minutes. It all seemed a bit too friendly for me almost like a Liverpool love in even before the game started.

'I have dreamt of this moment because of all the criticsm I have suffered in England' Suarez ... thought this was a tad harsh bearing in mind he was voted player of year and didnt need to bring his past misdemeanours into it. But I think this may be the start of him giving a nod to Real Madrid.
Although I can not condone the biting/racism , there is no question that he is a great player and as a neutral respect his playing side last season.

I would pay for his first class flight to wherever he wanted to go if he leaves. At 15 he got banned for headbutting a ref, he bit a player before he joined Chelsea, banned for racism then again for biting an opponent. He is about as cheaty as you can get, rolling about, diving and waving imaginary cards to get "colleagues" sent off. He is a despicable human being who's personality does not deserve the immense and amazing talent god gave him. As a nation we criticise him and rightly so for his appalling behaviour, but he is also given god like status from English fans in regard to his ability and is lorded on by opposition fans, pundits and the press. He is not given a short shaft in this country and should be grateful he gets away with what he does. But to say what he has about the country that give him his living and the opportunity after what he has done is very disrespectful and I want less of that kind of flawed personality tainting our shores. He can go today if he likes.

lol thanks for wasting my time. I thought you had to be talking about Suarez as everything fitted apart from him playing for Chelsea so I have been scrolling up and down to check what was going on. You got confused as he bit Ivanovic of Chelsea perhaps.

Pretty much sums it up, very Tevez like IMHO...the "stick" he has got from this country has probably made him grow up and helped him to become the world class player he now is. Bit rich then to say and write what he did to be honest unless of course he has no intention of returning to play here next season? :confused:
