Eggnog for the Black Cats!

Managerial Changes 2014/15

a 31% win rate..

Loads of draws too, a few of those into wins and he would still be in a job. Very fine line, that proves win or lose is often better than win a few, draw a lot and lose not too many will not put enough points on the board.

I cant see martinez lasing much longer at everton, hate to think it but i think they mau be interested in warbs come the end of the season to replace martinez, along with weir and carsley. Would seem a fit even though people will say a club like everton wouldnt take a gamble. Just a thought!

after spending so much on lukaku? he has 18 goals this season in all competition that's more than last season and they are bracing themselves for a £33million offer from Wolfsburg.. not sure it's that bad tbh..

Most in the europa league which has come to nothing? Will count for nothing in a relegation fight. They finished much higher without his 18 goals last season?

He scored 15 league goals for Everton, last season.

they are 6 points clear and they have qpeer saturday I think away, anyway when Moyes got them in to Europe a few seasons back they struggled in the league that same season... he wont be sacked..

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Look at Spurs for example, they struggle on post-Europa League Sundays.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Shaun Derry sacked by Notts County

Managerial Changes 2014/15

QPR fans want him as their new manager

Aren't they satisfied with Chris Ramsey? He's doing a magnifico job. Ungrateful barstewards.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Fernandez's 'Dream Appointment' was a dream for the other relegation candidates

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Is the seat at Kenilworth Road getting warm?

100% record in the last six games. That 100% lost and something like seven out of the last eight

not doing to bad for their 1st season back...

Managerial Changes 2014/15

I'm looking forward to them hiring a new promising manager, and then firing them around this time next year when they're not around the playoffs.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Cheltenham Town appoint Gary Johnson as manager for the rest of season..

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Crikey. I am not sure about that one. Very good manager in his time but I get the feeling that his time has gone.

They're asking him to keep them in the division, that's all.
Even if Johnson isn't the manager he was at Yeovil a few seasons back, that really shouldn't be beyond him.

Neil Redfearn said to be reconsidering his position at Leeds U after Steve Thompson suspended - the reasons for the suspension haven't yet been revealed

People talking Friday we are being linked with Leicester manager?????

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Nah - he's not Benham's kind of man imo.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

No - uncompromising northerner. Not our type of manager or MB

Managerial Changes 2014/15

And more than a little bit odd.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

The Pearson rumours seem very unlikely...absurd to be honest and probably made by someone who was very bored.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Reckon he's probably already been appointed and isn't someone most will be particularly familiar with?

Who knows, could be my imagination and pure bolo but given MB's attention to detail and his belief in long term forward planning I think by the time the news of Warbs leaving broke I expect a deal had been agreed.

MB is apparently so far ahead that Warbs's replacement has already been dismissed for an anticipated breach of contract and his successor is in post...knight to k4 :)

Nothing should surprise anyone about that mob.

Latest is that Redfearn has been told not to select striker Mirco Antenucci, who's currently on 10 goals for the season, since if he makes 12 goal by season end, he is entitled to a contract extension:

Redfearn had him on the bench on Friday and when he brought him on irrespective, the crowd applauded every time he touched the ball. They also chanted Thompson's name and are solidly behind NR.
