Speculation Warnock might take Shaun Derry back as his 1st team coach. Would be a big blow to Notts County but could be an interim step to him taking over at Palace one day. Think he's done a decent job at Notts County so far...

Listened to their Chairman Warnock has 2 year contract and part of his remit in year 2 ( presuming he is still there !!) is to groom his successor so whoever comes in as number 2 will potentially be manager within that period

A chaotic situation at Leeds which is good news as they are one of our main competitors in this League. I am sure there be many willing to chance their arm there but any sensible manager will give it a wide berth while the Italian is there. Hockaday was one of the strangest appointments in recent times and I doubt it has done his reputation any good as history will view it as just a joke appointment.
No doubt the next manger will be Italian.

...but apparently he's a "fit and proper" cock. No great lover of Leeds Utd but it is criminal to allow great English clubs to fall into the hands of dubious overseas owners. The club matters to its supporters. Really feel for them and what they have been put through over the last few years. Everytime they think they have hit rock bottom someone finds a shovel.
Another reason to thank goodness for Mr Benham.

Leeds fans are optimistic about life under cellino. As well as stabilising the finances (for now!) they have bought in 15 new players including some Italy U19s etc and a contemporary of Neymar. They are hoping for Steve Clark as manage too.
I do point out that a huge influx of promising sounding young foreigners does sound exciting but turning them into a team when the season has already started is another matter - how will their confidence hold up if they are thumped a couple of times due to lack of experience?
However, they have their White Rose Tinted Spectacles on and have visions of their glory days wistfully in their eyes. You kinda have to admire their resilience

Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than we know, but I find that strange.
I know Col U have a nice new stadium etc, but unless/until they can build up the rest of the club, they will remain a Lge Two side trying to compete in Lge One (imo).
Meanwhile, Dunne was trying to keep them there with a progressively reduced budget, whilst the Owner pumped money into the Academy.
Sounds like mixed messages to me i.e. can't decide whether they're really long-term in their thinking, or just another club which panics and sacks the Manager when the going gets tough.
