Managerial Changes 2014/15

Stewart Pearce.

Definitely on borrowed time.

Would like to say the same about Redknapp, but we have to wait for Tony Fernandes to wake up.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Nah Harry is doing a good job. :)
Peace should be off. What about Malky at Wigan??? As he won a league game yet???

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Has Holloway left Millwall yet? Another loss, this time against the shambles that is Blackpool

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Peterborough lost 2-0 at home to Colchester, who are one off the bottom of the league. Posh are now only 6 points off the drop zone. Surely that Irish **** who owns them will get rid of the wife beater sooner or later.

Expect Ferguson wishes they were playing Colchester every week.

Of the ones mentioned above I like Holloway, but losing to Blackpool us a terrible result,
Pearce is a club legend, which has probably given him a bit more time.
Redknapp us doing a great job, and has a 100% away record.
Malay MacKay will be given a bit more time.

So the next one for the chop will more than Likely be Holloway.

The Pearce-club-legend thing was in the air more than a month ago. He's used up that credit.
I think it's a toss up between him and Holloway who goes first.

Great to see QPR where they properly belong in the league table.

Wrong. Bob Peeters sacked by Charlton.

Wrong. Bob Peeters sacked by Charlton.

I think that's a shocking decision, Peeters walked into a club in complete disarray and they've had a steady half season and by all accounts if they had a better finisher they'd be several points better off.
Can see them doing far worse rather than improving and hope that's the case, know if I was a Charlton fan I'd be very unhappy with what's happening there since the Belgium owners got involved.

Many Charlton fans would have been happy if Jose Riga was kept on and they didn't take to him kindly originally after replacing Powell.

Whenever an 'out of the blue' sacking happens, I always look at the fan reaction to the club's announcement on Twitter. Plenty of surprise and anger. https://twitter.com/CAFCofficial/status/554364363805839361

Managerial Changes 2014/15

He came across as a good guy, went toe to toe with Uwe too, that's crap.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Yet another gentle reminder of how lucky WE are to have MB at the helm with his common sense, stability, long term vision, etc, etc

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Seemed like a decent manager who had steadied the ship somewhat. Uwe to the rescue??

Managerial Changes 2014/15

madness..

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Another club we have to visit soon who might be riding high on new manager syndrome.

Add them to the list with Norwich and Brighton.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Bob Peeters sacking is a shock thought he was doing ok dispite recent results, not sure if it's the same ownership that stood by Powell when won just 2 in 25 then got them promoted the following season.Be interesting to see how many different managers we face by the end of the season.

Bill, its a different lot of owners, Belgium's who have links to Standard Liege.
They bought and sold players without consulting Powell and forced him out allegedly by telling him who to play after getting in a new forward Powell knew nothing about.
Since then its got more crazy down there apparently until Peeters a Belgian arrived.
I thought they'd struggle this season but they seem to have bought well and started very strong. Few blips of late with some late, catastrophic defensive errors but their big problem has been not scoring despite large periods of possession.
Still think anyone coming in will struggle to get them any higher than Peeters did. Always thought he came across as honest and switched on.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Shocking.

If the Charlton board think they should be better placed in the league than they are, they are more deluded than Steve Evans.

I thought they would be bottom 3.

That's not good news for the Fulham Relegation Thread.

No idea whether he has or hasn't, but apparently both Roy Keane and Tim Sherwood were at the Forest game at the weekend:

Keane should not be allowed to manage, apart from Posh, they truely deserve each other.

he would kill the chairman in 2 secs.. he has a big mouth aswell..

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Guy Luzon, ex Standard Liege boss, favourite for Charlton job.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Millwall have a very hard run in from March. Holloway has nil to spend compared to us and so it will depend on how much the board want a scapegoat.

I don't think they can afford to sack him. Unless the crowd turn in a big way, I think he'll stay.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

No surprise there, waiting for the time when they try and change the name.

Some unsettling language from when he left Liege in my view (the bold bit).

"Guy Luzon has told the squad that he is stepping down as coach. He is no longer head coach of Standard, but will remain active inside the network of partner clubs. Ivan Vukomanović will temporarily take over."

I think Millwall are in bigger than big trouble, I can't see they have the funds or players to get them out of it if honest.

Whoever the manager is at Millwall in April/May, I can see it coming down to the final game of the season, which doesn't bode well for them as they're away at Wolves.
Their final four are: Wigan (H), Cardiff(A), Derby(H), Wolves(A).
Tough gig for whoever is their manager, unless they manage to unearth the next George Graham.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Luzon appointed. Be prepared for long ball football

Former player Ajdarevic on him: "He did not play football. Just long balls."

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Paul Jewell sacked as assistant by West Brom after a week! "In the hands of his lawyer".

Holloway's in trouble.

2-0 down at Bradford City, and down to ten men after six minutes.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

3-0 now. He won't survive this.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Poor Ollie, said he was in bigger than big trouble, it's hard to see him in the job tomorrow. He's looked troubled again lately, reckon he needs a proper break from the game.

He's had it as manager in the top two leagues. That style of management is so outdated now

Bradford branch of the Hobbs family very happy tonight!

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Apparently Holloway makes 5 or 6 changes a match to the line up.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Lee Gregory (Millwall) not happy with a fan on Twitter

offered his wife & family "out" allegedly :(
