Managerial Changes Thread 2017 / 2018
Reading.
I'd be really surprised if they appointed MacParland. Suspect Warburton would need to ditch him if he wanted Reading.
Reading.
Sheffield Wednesday have just appointed their new CEO
She was the second most hated person at Charlton before she resigned this week.
Katrien Miere
That is truly amazing as she was largely regarded by most Charlton fans as being completely out of her depth there and made some very strange decisions, some of them distinctly not fan friendly.
The way the game is going, you're probably right lol !Pardew can't have long....
Paul Jewell quits as Oldham assistant manager.
That lasted about a month!
Apparently he didn't like the poor training facilities.Think he has issues and demons.
Sheffield Wednesday appoint Jos LuWho?kay as manager.
Sounds like the first interference of the new CEO, hopefully he will be completely out of his depth and the Owls will fall out of their nest.
First game is the Steel city derby so no pressure whatsoever on the chap
They’ve got Carlisle away today.

Mark Hughes gone at Stoke

...........hopefully back to QPR when Ollie goes............
Although maybe not terribly inspiringKaranka on his way to Forest. If given time and resources will turn them into a top team.

Be interesting to see how he does because it's not as cushy as the Boro job was
He had serious funds at Boro and not sure how they're fixed at Forest.
A good appointment by Forest.
A complete u-turn to Warburton's style of playKaranka on his way to Forest. If given time and resources will turn them into a top team.

Indeed. Can see why MB wants a consistent playing style regardless of who the manager is. Just amazing that so few clubs have a similar policy.

Stoke trying to get Quique Sanchez Flores to accept (at Espanyol), and if not, Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane are fall back option:

There is a total state of stasis at Arsenal. Surely Wenger should do the right thing?

Should have stepped down after the FA Cup final in May as a nice send off and leave a legacy.
Instead i think it will end up quite acrimonious, he's way over stayed his welcome.
It's a shame really but i believe he's on millions a year so i guess reluctant to give it up!
They were absolutely toothless today at Muff. No leaders. There was nothing there at all

Giggs gets the Wales job, hope his players show more loyalty to the shirt than he ever did. Then again I wasn't impressed with Coleman's appointment as Wales head coach and that turned out OK.
............is he available to manage their friendlies?????............Giggs gets the Wales job, hope his players show more loyalty to the shirt than he ever did. Then again I wasn't impressed with Coleman's appointment as Wales head coach and that turned out OK.

At least that will keep Giggs out of the Jungle/Strictly/ etc...
