Given your description of their current predicament, I doubt whether Sunderland supporters will be overly concerned by your allegation that Moyes's teams play dour football.
Similar could be said of Sam Allardyce's sides.
The question is whether Moyes will be effective in avoiding relegation.

He actually wasn't doing that well the past two seasons at Wolves, considering they are one of the bigger clubs in the division.

My memory of him at Bolton was that they couldn't defend. I saw footage where it was clear the players were doing their job, i.e. in position as the coach wanted them, and the opposition ran through them and scored.

I can't understand why they would get rid of him after three matches. Just means that whoever was responsible for hiring him has not done their job properly (take note Leeds). Needs much more time in the role before you can make an educated decision. I hate the culture of instant success at all costs is a must - permeates from impatient Chairmen / owners right through to the fans on the terrace. :mad1:
