You may well be right, to be fair I can see why Fulham bought him as he's not dissimilar to McCormack in as much as he's Scottish, overweight, lazy and shirty but when he can be bothered he's got a great first touch as well as a very good finisher.

He's supposed to have resigned, so it makes a bit more sense.

I recall reading a stat that he hadn't scored a goal that wasn't a penalty for Derby at home for 18 months before they sold him. He used to be decent but nowhere near the same league as McCormack now.

I didn't check but that's what I thought and he won his first Scotland cap last year so must have done ok when not injured. For the record I hate him but no doubting he is on his day a very good footballer.

It's crazy, they've thrown decent money at it and failed miserably with crap choices of managers, bad expensive signings and off the field madness, MB spends a lot and far too much on us but not in their league and yet we easily compete with them, it's pretty mental really.

He suited Derby but he did carry on Clough's work. It will be interesting to see how it works out, they're been short of their own perceived level for a few years now but is the squad good enough to pull up the table? Probably, but not by enough to make a go at the playoffs.
