Matchday Programme 22/23
Can you share the reply on here?I wrote and the reply was 'disingenuous' to say the least. I'd rather they were just honest about what they are doing.

Not had one yet not damaged in some way. I think the envelopes are just a bit too small. Used to get them in better condition when they came in hard-backed envelopes.Programme arrived Saturday and in good condition for the first time so no complaints.

............programmes on sale in the West Stand for the Chelsea game.................Again only the one seller on the bridge, took a while because people were asking for receipts so the seller had to cancel the transaction and start again. seemed like he had to put in first that he wanted a receipt as appose to just clicking a button after transaction has gone through.
Have you had Brighton programme delivered ?Chelsea prog delivered by DHL today (why DHL?). Packaging changed. Only minor damage...
Where abouts? Any of the food/drinks bars?............programmes on sale in the West Stand for the Chelsea game.................
I have, so best contact the club. My Chelsea programme came today.Have you had Brighton programme delivered ?

I would email the club to make them aware and that would severely pi×× me off.Not the biggest issue by any means, but a slight irritation and maybe something to watch out for…
I bought a programme today outside the south stand and tapped my card on the reader, as normal. I hardly ever check my account balance but I just happened to look at it this evening as I was making an online payment to someone, and I noticed that I have been charged £8 for the programme today - and yes, I did only buy one!
I wouldn’t imagine many people check the payment amount, but I might do so in the future.
Is there any point? It’s my word against theirs. I know I only bought one programme, but I’ve no proof.I would email the club to make them aware and that would severely pi×× me off.
Exactly your last sentence. Is there any point? It’s my word against theirs. I know I only bought one programme, but I’ve no proof.
It‘s just irritating that you don’t get a receipt - and I’m not suggesting they should add to the time by printing one - but you don’t see the amount on the reader either. Who knows how many have been charged a wrong amount and never noticed, or never checked.

Makes no sense does it?Sold out
Not sure why the seller was still standing there, made it appear it was open business as usual

Saw three sellers the same at 7.30pm. Got one in the club shop in the end.Makes no sense does it?
"just one please, mate"
'what? a programme?'
"please fella" (do they sell anything else???)
'oh, I'm sold out..'![]()
Surprised it wasn’t a full issue.£2 for that was a bit naughty I think.
Try club shop - I missed one earlier in the season & bought online £4 & wasn't charged any P&Pdont suppose any from last night knocking around ?
I bought one outside the South after the match - I usually buy from one of the merch stands inside the North but they both sold out about half an hour before the match. I wonder if there was a distribution issue last night? The content is pretty good and if they want it to fail I'm not sure they would make that much effort!i still have problems actually purchasing a programme on matchday, which is ridiculous. There had been a sales point at the mini merchandise kiosk in the Dug Out in recent months but that seems to have disappeared now so I'm reliant on the sellers outside the ground - couldn't get one arriving 5 minutes before kick off against Spurs and despite arriving three quarters of an hour before kick off last night I only just got one of the very last copies on sale from seemingly the only sales point outdude the South Stand, having queued 10 minutes for the privilege. I'm not a great conspiracy theorist but the persistent refusal to address the lack of sales points and low visibility of the programme around the ground does almost make it seem as though its being set up to fail.
Some copies abandoned by departing visitors last night, might still be there…dont suppose any from last night knocking around ?

Think I've only seen it the once this season, maybe against Utd or a friendly. My tale is similar to Garybaldbee. Arrived on railway bridge programme queue at about 5pm. The seller excused himself just before I got to the trolley, saying he was having to go to the Superstore to see if they had any spares. He then reappeared with just 3! Enough for the couple of guys in front of me, but not for me!. I asked him to cascade my complaint to his boss(es).
This is the 2nd time this season that the programmes sold out and I couldn't get a copy. Whatever happened to the seller near the roundabout by the Superstore?
Behind the North Stand, there was a small merchandise outlet, which didn't even have programmes to sell.
When I got to my seat, I drafted an Email to the club which was sent after the game. I expressed my annoyance that this was the 2nd time this season this had occurred. Also surely the club must now have enough sales figures of those sold at each outlet. Why is there a shortage 30 minutes before kick off.
I await a reply from the club with interest. Not holding my breath, though... .
Never an issue at GP that I can remember, Also used to get sellers walking around inside.I agree, the content is excellent. But that leaves me utterly perplexed as to why there seems no desire to address the supply, distribution and sales problems. We are in the Premier League, with vastly more resources available to us than ever before yet its never been harder to do something as simple as buy a programme.
Until the machines don't work or go
slow.
