I believe we get 15 % sell on fee

Charlton get 15 % too

I may be wrong....:sneakoff:

Michael Turner

Didn't we give up a larger % of our %age by taking more of the money from Hull?

It would be nice to know what % we have, but I won't be holding out much hope.

I don't know why you post this sort of comment frankly.

It's been on the GPG for months and months and the sell-on for both BFC and Charlton were spelt out in the Greg Dyke interview which is still on the GPG.

Thanks and I will start looking.

15% for us, 20% for charlton

Working it out (If it profit)

It would be 6000000 - 350000 = 5650000 * 15% = £847500

Which would be nice. Come on City make it 6million and we will be happy.

It's 15% for us and 15% for Charlton I believe.

I thought I had said that, but maybe I was dreaming :banghead:

Greg Dyke said:
They have a large sell on now from Hull.
We went down from 20% to 15% and they (Charlton) will also get 15%. My view was take the cash now. Who knows what happens in the future?

Yep we both get 15% sell on.

Michael Turner

I am sure City will pay more!!! Will be a nice little bonus if the rumours, and they are rumours, come to any sort of fruition

Michael Turner

Suppose we now need to pray for Hull to collapse and get relegated (but MT to continue to shine)

Michael Turner

I think Hull could be at the start of a rapid slide down the table, and in a couple of months time could well find themselves only a couple of places above the relegation zone (I await that being quoted later in the season when they finish seventh!! :))

I am not so sure, if they get a few more points pre & post Xmas, and City come in with a £6m offer (which I doubt they will as they are linked with every other centre half going), they may well say thank you very much, we only need 10-15 more points to stay up anyway.

Mark Hughes has been promised all the riches and he can buy any player in the world that he thinks that he needs. Slightly surprised that his plan includes a centre back from Hull.

Michael Turner

best centre back outside the top 4 (who wouldn't sell)

Let's not question their methods. :D

Alright how about they sign Craig Pead, some selling points

- He's English which they like
- He been voted into team of the year 2 years in a row
- He can play RB/RM/CM
- He'll only cost 10Million whereas Fabregas would cost 35Million+

Do you think we can sell Pead to them? lol

Michael Turner

I hope that we can hang on to 15% as these things tend to get squeezed in the negotiations...

Michael Turner

Hopefully another club will show interest and a bidding war can begin.

They more they pay the more we get.

Not a chance. I'll give you more than half a dozen better (including at least two at Manchester City!)

Michael Turner

Micah Richards, Richard Dunne, Matthew Upson, Martin Laursen, Curtis Davies, Ryan Nelson, Phil Jagielka, Sol Campbell, Michael Dawson, Ledley King, Jonathon Woodgate .....

ha ha they are all useless, Turner is better than all of them. :nono::nono:roflroflroflroflroflrofl

Michael Turner

would be good for BFC if this does come to fruition, then BFC can survive through the summer!

Would be interesting if Hull offered to buy out the sell-on clause early - Say £400,000, I wonder what the board would do. It's a recent trend Reading have done, Doyle springs to mind.

Michael Turner

We nearly swapped it for Nicky Forster two years ago.

Michael Turner

Micah Richards, Richard Dunne

Dunne makes Turner look rapid.

Sadly on performances of late Richards could end up being the next Titus Bramble.

Although I do agree there are plenty better centre backs in the premier. But of the better ones who would cost less than the quoted amount for Turner?

Michael Turner

all the other defenders have had prem experiance, this is MT first season in the prem he can only get better

Bearing in mind injury proneness (sp?) and age wouldn't think there are too many (who aren't already signed for City), except Matthew Upson and Martin Laursen...the latter who might not be too keen on leaving given he is captaining a team on the verge of the top 4.

Michael Turner

Fingers crossed this happens. Surely it's going to sooner or later.

Hampton did that when they sold Darren Powell to us, thinking that he would never be sold on because of a long standing injury.

Price now..........£8 million !!!

When Man City hears about this............£10 million !!!

That'll be a nice chunk to see the Bees through the summer of 2009.

Corrected your post. The only problem is he might not fancy championship football next season

Michael Turner

Come on Premier League teams, start the bidding off at 8 mil :)

Michael Turner

Hull City have stuck a £10m price tag on the defender.

This is to apparently ward off interest from Man City and Liverpool.

rightlol

Michael Turner

with the stupid prices paid thesedays why isn't Turner worth 10 mil ? bargain if it's on a long contract.

If he continues to put in performances like those seen so far this season, I can see no reason why he wouldn't be worth that sort of money. You only have to look at the sums paid for other quality centre halves to see that many have commanded big bucks over the past couple of seasons.

Great to see him doing so well
