Middlesex CCC

Two T20 games to come against the whipping boys of the South Division to make it to the quarter finals.
How many teams from each group qualify, is it two?

Two and the two best third place teams. Middlesex should be a shoe in I reckon.

I'm off to Hove tonight to see Middlesex take on the Sussex in the 20/20.

Hopefully Sussex will still be getting over their Essex game.:sorted:

Not too sure if Middlesex were taking the pi55, but playing Sussex at Hove, did they need to play in pink?:D

I see today that if Middlesex beat Surrey on Friday and finish top, looks likely they will be playing their quarter final at The Oval, due to the Afrikaans being entertained at Lords that day.

They are deciding between the Oval and Uxbridge.

they would be mad to turn down the Oval in my opinion. What does Uxbridge hold, 4000, they would surely get 3 times that for a 1/4 final.

Isn't it more likely to be the other way around? The Oval is Surrey's home ground and it's surely up to them to decide. A nice juicy fee should settle things, I would guess.

Besides I am sure that the MCC will sort out a discount for the Home County of BFC :sorted:

After Middlesex took 3 wickets that would grace any international match, Surrey were left to lick their wounds.

Having said that, Roy is everybody's hero.

As a Lancashire fan I was very happy with how things were looking, but Middlesex have done very well to score 176 for 7. We do have got a powerful batting line up though, and have got a good chance to win this (hopefully).:sorted:

Went to the Oval today to see Malan massacre Lancashire.

Early days but the boy looks like a real prospect, I'd have him in the England ODI setup, certainly in the 20-20 format, he averages over 40.00 in 20-20.

Think the trophy is in Middlesex's grasp, they have a real good unit, great effort to recover from 21-4 against a very strong Lancashire bowling attack.

The problems lies in if he wants to play for England or South Africa tho. As he is South African but was born here.
