You need to click on the arrow on right hand side of the thread, rather than the thread title.

I think making clicking on thread title take you to the first unread is a good idea. But then again I only do server-side these days

Can the banners with the poster's name and time of post be red (or another distinctive colour) as it breaks the separate posts down more clearly IMO!?

I get your point but I wonder if something too bold will look unsightly. I'll add it to the backlog to have a look though.

there are clues in the other posts here as to why it might not be a highly appreciated comment in itself... but to summarise: the upgrade was necessary, the old version won't be back, the new version is one day old and tweakable but there's a poor guy with a real job and a real family who's doing the tweaking in his spare time, and specific feedback comments (as per your follow-up ) are more useful than "don't like it"

I appreciate it's a free forum with no ads and it's a lot better than many other teams forums.

However, we have a good proxy for it

In the last month sessions were access from the following devices:

Mobile: 47%
Desktop: 37%
Tablet: 16%​

So mobile & tablet account for a staggering 63% of all sessions....

By the seems of it you had no choice. But everything is too large! Scrolling and navigation is 3/4 times longer. Not sure how this can be addressed moving forwards.

I liked the old version it just missed notifications and likes.

You can now select the old style if you wish. However, it's flaky and I'll more likely concentrate on this new style as it's the recommended and vBulletin approved approached.

How can I select the old style? Are you talking about the old style mobile version?

I subsequently posted that he had been removed again. I believe you that you will find this style better once you've used it for a while.

That may be correct as the old style is still available but not selectable. In a few days, it will likely disappear.

You should see four blue icons top right, it's the first blue icon, "what's new" that shows you the new posts since your last been on.

In the What's New results, if you use the icon to the right of the thread rather than pressing the thread title, this takes you to first unread post. Pressing the title takes you to the start of the thread.

I'm completely baffled by that. Nothing like that either my iPhone or Android tablet. Can I suggest you log out of the site, shut down your browser then go back in again? Sorry, I know that's a lame turn off and turn on again response but let's see what happens.

Yes, if you try and press the what's new button inside the three dot menu the button doesn't work it just presses search. Not a problem now you've also added it to the top bar.

Works now you've moved the button, the problem has moved to the Friends button. Something odd with that part of the screen?

Must be. That's going to be difficult to find. Luckily you don't have many friends so it probably won't convenience you too much.
