What was Jonathan Pearce talking about claiming Wolves haven't won at Brentford since 1947? Who does the research?
We did play them in 1947, but we won 4-1.

We've lost three times at home to them since then.

Fair play to Lineker mugging off Frank Lampard with his laughing to very serious in the blink of an eye routines. Very funny, it's what all the impressionists like Darren Farley and Connor Moore do.

MotD

Made us look like we dominated the game.

Just watching the Spurs Wolves game on MOTD, how shocking is Spurs defence ….. another club that most probably needs an overhaul !

........Jenas is a cantankerous git..... c'mon the Rams......by 7-13.

We have extended our equality philosophy to MOTD to as we frequently get the lady commentator although i suspect that is also as we are not in the first two games most weeks

There are 2 regular female commentators on MOTD: Vicki Sparks and Robyn Cohen. The former is good, the latter is really bloody annoying.

MotD

All those camera angles, yet not a single replay of our goal in the coverage too

MotD

We need to do something interesting again to warrant a mention. We are no longer seen as "they'll be alright" but the pundits also don't look closely at the table to see immediate danger of the drop. We are just meh

MotD

We’ll get plenty of coverage over the next three games ?

MotD

Anyone catch Wrighty's little poke at Ivan with his 'nice kickabout for the lads' comment after the game?

Fair game sh*thousery imb.

MotD

Zero analysis of us on MotD. I guess we are no longer the media darlings.

Quite a bit on Bees last night on MOTD2 - with Troy Deeney talking about us.

In-depth chat about differences between Championhip and PL

Good little piece about CE at the end too.

Just watching MoTD and Mike Dean has made a complete idiot of himself with the Brighton keeper Not getting sent off for a clear arm in the face of Diaz and Allison with a clear handball outside his area and it's not given. After watching this game and De Silva's sending off against Newcastle just cements my thoughts that he shouldn't be refereeing at Premier League level

MotD

Bloody hell. IT just a mention, and apparently, Burnley had much better chances, despite losing 2-0 and having 1 shot on target. Nothing about us really, bit of praise for CE but the rest of the commentary about Burnley.

Seen a few people saying the Brighton keeper was a "blatant" red, but i thought it would've been ridiculous to send him off for that... it wasn't exactly the old German keeper Schumacher (World Cup 82). I appreciate it looked bad, but didn't think he did much wrong.

But i did watch a few minutes of the match and thought Dean looked a bit portly and was making some odd decisions... maybe time to call it a day.

I think Liverpool would have preferred the ball to have rolled wide. Penalty and red card for denying a goal scoring opportunity.

Yeah if it hadn't gone in it might have been a red. Think it worked out fine for the Scousers in the end so not sure they'd be too bothered either way...

It's an odd one, but if it hadn't gone in and a penalty awarded, he may have been spared the red card on the double jeopardy rule.

But the double jeopardy rule doesn't apply if no penalty is awarded so I wonder if that was part of the thinking in not sending him off. For me it was one of those where, any outfield player does that then it's an obvious red, no question.

That "double jeopardy" rule applies to if you are making a genuine attempt for the ball, which he was not doing.
Just like Collins against Toney.

Indeed, but I would argue the keeper was making an attempt to play the ball (albeit a pretty poor one!). He certainly didn't "intend" to take the player out, unlike Collins did with Toney.
