Think it goes back to his Crewe days to be honest, still a “Knob” ?Fulham c@nt
That's all
For the THIRD time this season (so far).First on match of the day... Wow
I get the feeling he wakes up in the morning, looks in the mirror and has exactly the same reactionDanny Murphy “ Knob “ really does not like us ?
You mean the Crewe days when he was still young when he orchestrated against us at Wembley in a magnificent individual performance? Say what you like but he had a terrific careerThink it goes back to his Crewe days to be honest, still a “Knob” ?
They seem to fit them all in to the schedule.I think the director for the programme needs replacing. They need to tell Lineker to shut up and get onto next match as they always run out of time for the last match.
Danny Murphy “ Knob “ really does not like us ?
Wow. That is unbelievable that the VAR man.didn't show the referee the view that clearly showed Willock being pushed into the keeper.
Some awful VAR stuff today.
Be careful what you wish for..Look at some of the pundits Sky and BT employ. The whole MoTD format needs a shakeup including new presenters. It needs to be sharper and more dynamic. Its currently very boring. But as its the BBC they will just plod on with it ad nauseum.
Well, yesterday's scoreline would have been 3-2 then, with Wissa scoring the late winner! But VAR in its current state .. interruptions are too long, decisions are all over the place.. - in current state, I'd rather accept the mistakes and a fluid running game..
And how good would that have been!! ??Well, yesterday's scoreline would have been 3-2 then, with Wissa scoring the late winner!
The last few minutes would certainly have been more nail-biting than they were! And how good would that have been!! ??
I’d disagree. It’s not perfect but in that Saturday night slot, I suspect the relaxed nature of it all appeals to many. More often than not I’m watching it from the sofa whilst fighting with myself not to fall asleep (sometimes after a few vinos) but I’m not sure I’d bother if it was too ‘heavy’ on analysis, tactics and generally more dynamic etc. There are others shows for that on at better time. The whole MoTD format needs a shakeup including new presenters. That’s for sure!!The last few minutes would certainly have been more nail-biting than they were!
Which means my prediction would have been spot onWell, yesterday's scoreline would have been 3-2 then, with Wissa scoring the late winner!
If I'd been a Leeds fan (God forbid!), I'd have been pretty disappointed about the penalty that they didn't get, but, that aside, VAR was indeed used and applied correctly IMO.Kidding aside, in our game VAR use was spot on
I can still barely believe we’re on it let alone being first and having the big name players of my youth like Lineker and Shearer who’d probably hardly been aware of our existence back then going on about how brilliantly we played. If you want boring, remember waiting until past midnight to watch the 30s of Endsleigh league highlights by the time they got to us as not even being nearly the most interesting game in the third or fourth tier. The whole MoTD format needs a shakeup including new presenters. Why is it necessary? Mistakes are part of the game - ask Bamford. If VAR corrected mistakes, and minimally interrupted "the game" - I'd be a fan..

Used to love Endsleigh league extra. Great scenes of celebration on sparsely populated terraces. Always quite easy to spot myself and others ?I can still barely believe we’re on it let alone being first and having the big name players of my youth like Lineker and Shearer who’d probably hardly been aware of our existence back then going on about how brilliantly we played. My son was pleased to see himself celebrating Mbeumo’s goal yesterday - he stood out as he was wearing his green Raya shirt but we stand too far to the side of the goal to often get in shot.Used to love Endsleigh league extra. Simpler times…
I wouldn’t.But VAR in its current state .. I'd rather accept the mistakes and a fluid running game..
If VAR was properly used then it would have been a foul outside the area not a penalty. If I'd been a Leeds fan (God forbid!), I'd have been pretty disappointed about the penalty that they didn't get, but, that aside, VAR was indeed used and applied correctly IMO.
The penalty wouldn't have been given to us yesterday without VAR that's for sureIf VAR corrected mistakes, and minimally interrupted "the game" - I'd be a fan..

It wouldn't but with the way VAR is used today are you sure it gets given everytime irrespective of who is watching and who the ref is? I'm not and that is why VAR is currently failingThe penalty wouldn't have been given to us yesterday without VAR that's for sure
If VAR was properly used then it would have been a foul outside the area not a penalty.
I reckon that it would have been a penalty as refs rarely give free kicks for shirt tugs and Aaron clearly clipped his opponent's leg in the penalty area.If VAR was properly used then it would have been a foul outside the area not a penalty.
Aaron clearly clipped his opponent's leg in the penalty area.
That was our assumption, that the ref thought it was just a tangle, highlighted by their player's stop and fall, and that the VAR ref agreed there was no clear and obvious error.Yes but that was after the opponent had slowed and started dropping/ diving to buy the pen / con the ref (imho) ala Maddison.
There must be a reason why on field and VA refs both agreed no pen.
In which case VAR was used correctly. It is not there to award free kicks for fouls outside of the area. If it checked every incident for a foul we'd all be there about 4 hours. If VAR was properly used then it would have been a foul outside the area not a penalty.
Since he had already started on his theatrical dive he couldn’t do much else but make contact.I reckon that it would have been a penalty as refs rarely give free kicks for shirt tugs and Aaron clearly clipped his opponent's leg in the penalty area.
It's on iPlayerStitched us up again putting us on first when nobody’s home in time. Best to put us on last when trains are disrupted & everyone’s out celebrating. Brilliant day yesterday. Hope MOTD does us justice.
............it is the best one..............Shouldn't you watch all the goals and choose the best one ?
When he was on talkSPORT with Natalie he constantly reminded her of that game. You mean the Crewe days when he was still young when he orchestrated against us at Wembley in a magnificent individual performance? Say what you like but he had a terrific career
Confirming he’s a ***** ?When he was on talkSPORT with Natalie he constantly reminded her of that game.
One of the biggest 1-0 thrashings I have seen us take.
5-0 wouldn't have flattered them.
That's not true.Danny Murphy “ Knob “ really does not like us ?
Still not good enough for some. For the THIRD time this season (so far).
That’s purely because in those days gone by the ref didn’t have the benefit of VAR to see that the “foul” had been deliberately engineered and specifically for it to be in the penalty area. Now the ref has the facility to enable him to make a decision which admittedly ( but not in this case) could still be incorrect. Hope this helps.Strange.
Whenever Clayton Donaldson employed the same tactic (slowing down as he ran into the box, waiting for a shove in the back or legs to be tangled), everyone always screamed penalty! And it normally was.
No different from the incident yesterday with Hickey - would have been a soft penalty if it was given, but sometimes they're given and sometimes not.
But I also think that initially if a penalty was given for the challenge VAR wouldn't have overturned it.It was a foul for sure, but watching it a couple of times on MOTD I think the foul did occur outside of the box, and therefore VAR can't give it. It depends which part of the foul you want to penalise, but the main contact was outside IMO.
