We've all criticised our own players, rightly or wrongly, at some time. I'm sure some of us have cheekily expressed hope that one of our players may pick up a knock or a suspension before a crucial game, if we think that player is a bit of a liability. But I hope we all have a little bit too much class to ever smirk and find amusement at the idea of one of our own contracted players picking up a serious ligament industry.
Some extremely vile posts by the Shrews "fan" in this thread.
Despite being released with a serious injury,he has managed to remain professional and act with dignity.

How much bad luck can one player have?
Still hasn't played this season, hopefully everything is ok.
Saw Mark Phillips in the stands, apparently he is without a club at the moment.
He still shows as being at Southend according to their official website. I thought he had a deal there through June 2011.
Nathan Elder's contract cancelled by mutual consent - He had a year left i think, so I nice pay out for Big Nath !
There is a God!!
Good luck next season guys!
there sure is... you've just signed Marvin Morgan! Good luck with that!
you may want to find an Aldershit forum to vent your frustration at.
Good luck to Big Nate.
Wonder if he'll end up at AFC Wimbledon although I hear Looton are interested.
Now training at Luton - poor nathan
Shame, as he's a lovely bloke, certainly gave everything for us.
He certainly is, an absolute gentleman. If anyone deserves to get his footballing career back on track, it's "Nathan Elder - Brentford's Number 9!!!!!!" does.
Now training at Luton - poor nathan
signed for Hayes and Yeading United today
Shame he has fallen so far. I just hope that regular games will help restore his fitness and confidence and that he gets back to where he was a couple of years ago.
