However, your list is interesting in that it looks like it covers every club that is less than 10 miles from the centre of London. So it is surprising that there are about 3 in that list, which will be marginally further away than us (using Lionel Road stadium, which is just under 8 miles from say Trafalgar Square).

Looks like every other club has a main London postcode, except us!

As always, we are different with TW8.

I’ve heard the postcode thing from ra ras before but it’s the only team with a west London postcode and therefore the only true west London team

It's good to learn that the Post Office determine what is London, or West London. I never knew that.

By the same logic the Downing St is in South West London, Tottenham Court Road is in West London, and South London doesn't even exist!

Queens Park is in NW6.
Their spiritual home.
One of many before they broke open a padlocked gate and refused to move.
They also played in Richmond.
At London Scottish.
At least Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham know their roots and did not behave like squatters.

Watching the game last night, one thing that struck me was how many Fulham players would actually get in our first team. I noted none.

Rather than the Post Office, I thought it would be to do with those towns that used to be in the county of Middlesex (and they still technically are), but became part of Greater London in 1965. Hence post codes like TW (Twickenham), HA (Harrow), etc. It was too costly and complicated to change them to 'London' postcodes someone once told me.

The clue is that London is formed of boroughs, each of which start "London Borough of...."

It’s been mentioned before but, afaik, no hard copy being printed. There’s a possibility of a digital download version being made available. If there is a download version, there are one or two programme dealers who may print them off as a hard copy. Still waiting to find out!

I am new on this forum buy just wanted to show my support. I am Danish and lived in Brentford 10 years ago and I'm really excited to see how the club has evolved since then. I know that plenty of Danes are cheering for you on Tuesday and hoping to see you in the PL next year ?

The one takeaway I picked up from watching the Fulham Cardiff game is that Fulham are really vulnerable to set pieces. I suspect that TF has picked up on this also and hopefully our set pieces delivery is spot on come Tuesday.
