I thought the ref versus hartlepool had a bit of a mixed night, 3 very poor decisions stood out. The thigh high lunge/assault that only got a yellow, kevins yellow for a perfectly timed tackle on the edge of our area and then that phantom free kick on the edge of the area when moore was about to kick the ball out.

No announcement yet re the ref. I wonder if Sky might make a late move to change kick off to 5.20 and televise it

They can't as its the last day all games have to kick off at the same time and on this occassion that means 3pm.

I actually thought he got the KOC one correct. First instincts for me was that it was a joke decision, but looking at replays, it seemed like he did just catch the player before the ball..
The knee high challenge was a bad call from the referee. Noticed it obviously - but should have been red. Imagine he gave yellow as he probably thought it was unintentional.. But then why make a 'second' movement of digging his boot into the thigh....
The free kick, if I recall, I agree with too.. was very confused but the television didn't show anything, or any replays of different angles. We may never know why he gave it - but seemed strange at the time.

Maybe they may show it still live anyway if they have the time slot available. They will certainly have a camera there with a live link to reporter rather than the on screen scoreline and voice over they normally do for our level.

I imagine it will be the feature game on the FLS apparently Claridge has booked time off for when we win!

I would love John Moss to be the referee who did the Chelsea game as he was brilliant.

If it is Stuart Atwell I will cry

It's Michael Oliver they've gone for a select group ref

They can't, last day of season means all 3pm kick offs, they also can not show live games at peak ko times like 3pm.
Why would they anyway? the whole country is having promotion/relegation deciders, what makes us suddenly so important?

He is very good so no issue there. He was one of the three fast tracked refs alongside Attwell and one other, he could be the chap that gave that awful pen against us away to wycombe a few years ago though. Point blank cross hits wood or dicksons hand from 1 inch and cost us the game live on tv.

No other division has a scenario such as ours...
And I was not aware of any rule that means there are NO live games at 3pm..
And yes, I was also aware that all games had to kick off at same time, though thanks for making sure I knew.

SSN(Natalie) interviewed a former Premier League referee, the name slips my mind at the moment, and he couldn't understand why the Hartlepool player was not sent off for the stamp on Diagouraga
