100%... we have much more cover at the wing position than the CB position. If one of them picks up an injury then the next man up is Pinnock and he's simply not a reliable PL CB anymore.

Yes, the tracker says Rico's out for the rest of the season 
With Hickey injured too we're in a familiar spot with our full backs.
Poor old KLP will almost certainly have to fill in there now. Hopefully Hickey can get back fit for after the international break.

Obviously we don’t know the extent of Rico’s injury, but there is no need to rush him back as we’ve secured our place in the PL for next season and although the team will aim to finish in the highest possible position it gives Keith another problem to solve, something that will also help him going forward, too.
It’s a shame for Rico, but it’s been great seeing him back after so long being out of the team.

To be honest it didn't look TOO bad from the way he was acting. I'm optimistic it's more in the tweak than a tear category.
Wouldn't even be surprised if he was technically ready for Wolves but suspect we'll play it safe and give him longer rest.

Having 2 dedicated specialist full backs out of 3 out injured is far from ideal and can’t be OK. Lewis-Potter may’ve performed heroics as a stand-in but we’re at a level and point where specialisation really is needed. Let’s hope Hickey is available after the international break…

Ok so your suggestion is we need something we don’t have. Two seasons ago we didn’t have any full backs at all . We are in a Better place. Yes full back weakness not great when you are chasing Europe but what you gonna do? It happens. We’ve over come worse in this division .

25 games and 29 squads made this season meaning every PL matchday available up until this weekend is an excellent return from Rico for the season.
The thing about Rico is he never gives up, sentiment never comes into football, but I’m always happy whenever Rico is playing, he’s our link to the past playing in the best performing squad we have ever had.

I know what you mean. He’s such a passionate and inspiring player and there’s a thread that goes back to where we came from and how we got here. He still shines. Gutted for him.
Also wanted to see him at the World Cup. My actual home team are not likely to qualify and Jamaica is my best proxy.
If the club had listened to my suggestion and installed a giant statue of Rico that lit up as he got fitter they wouldn’t be running around now wondering what to do. They could just light up the statue again FFS. You don’t know what you’re doing BFC. Also you haven’t paid my invoice for consulting on the giant Rico statue.

KLP played LB not only filled in but in TFs eyes and quotes turned into a quality LB! now I believe he’s needed again in this role so please do not dismiss him as a stop gap or not up for it !! as some suggest, keep the balance,CBs where they need to be so we can rotate and a lad (KLP) who has played a considerable amount of games in the LB role, once Hickey is fit then we can keep a balance.
