Its frustrating to hear that hes getting set backs for things like warm down sprinting after games he not involved in.

I don't think we can assume much from that. He's sadly pulled his hamstring twice in as many months whilst running in training. I'll wait till I see his name on the start sheet. Anything else is pure speculation given the history of his recovery.

My bet is that he is now ‘fully recovered’ and they are considering it a 10 day ramp up period after injury for him to be ready to play

Really heartbreaking. Luckily, with Keano's emergence, Kayode being able to play both sides, then in the future Hickey's impending return and Meghoma seemingly doing very well in the championship, we should have enough depth at the role going forward. Concerned that we have seen his best, but the club will still take care of him and he will get his chance when the time comes.

Where was this said? As far as I’m aware, TF made no comparison with our longer term absentees. “A little further away” could mean a few weeks

ACL’s = end of career back then, Bryan Clough, Norman Whiteside, Micah Richards, Lesley king, Alf Halaand. There are hundreds of them

No scanners to know that it was an ACL though so players just retired with knackered knees.

Rico is close to training, don’t forget he was match fit just a few weeks ago before tweaking his hamstring. But you read it as he is behind Hickey who needs a whole pre season according to you.

I think you are reading it wrong.

Hes already got the fitness. Hes further away in terms of full training........................ But once hes back i bet that means hes ready to play.
