Rio Ferdinand

Black people, like who i have mentioned,do have chips on their shoulder.not all black people before you want to suggest thats what im getting at.
Kick it out is an awareness campaign, not a legal representation.i dukly after Suarez should have been dealt with more, and then again when he refused to shake his hand at the re match, dont know about months.for the record,Terry was cleared in the court of law of directing racial abuse so cant see how he should be punished

So you've met Jason Roberts, Anton Ferdinand etc etc then have you? So you believe they have chips on their shoulders? Incredible.

A court of law has nothing to do with the FA rules and regulations regarding playing football and how to conduct yourself on the pitch. Racial comments were made.

no,not met any of them, but going on their behaviour and the way theyve put themselves across over the years, rio and anton more so,i have my opinion on them, listening to Roberts in an interview on the radio regarding this issue,i wasnt totally convinced with him,so have made my assumption.
i dont know how the fa can over ride a court of laws decision. if its for using the language then to me thats no reason to punish him.If im on a pitch and a player falsely accuses me of calling him a black *****,I am going to say to him and the ref i didnt call anyone a black *****.If Terry has been found not guilty of directing racial abuse then he shouldnt be punished but the person who has made the false claim.
theres many on here you havnt met but are quick to judge! is that as incredible ?

Rio Ferdinand

I do think Ferdinand's stance is primarily out of personal dislike to John Terry. Also, yes, he is not a great figure head after all his misdemeanours especially his outrageous 'choc-ice' explanation.

To be fair, now I've read some of Jason Roberts' views, I have some respect for his actions. I don't see a chip on his shoulder tbh. Also, apparently Joleon Lescott hasn't worn a KIO top for a number of years since he perceived a lack of action after someone racially abused a team-mate.

In life you get nice people, horrible people, good people, bad people from most* cross-sections of society (*all QPR fans are scientifically proven to be dicks). Rio doesn't strike me as a nice or good person but then neither does John Terry.

agree with all of this.
i dont like terry but if hes cleared in a court of law then thats the highest it can go,cant go higher?
What are KIO meant to do ? theyre not a legal organisation. Why are they bearing the brunt.Ive highlighted how much i dislike KIO being shoved in my face everytime i go football when there isnt really a problem here, but i think its unfair the treatment they are getting

You need to read up a bit on what a court can convict someone on and what the FA's rules and regs are. Terry admitted it. Under FA's rules he was punished. It has nothing to do with the courts. I suggest you read why Jason Roberts and others didn't wear the KIO shirts too.

Rio Ferdinand

Haven't Jason Roberts and Clarke Carlisle distanced themselves from the Ferdinand's proposed new black footballers gang? Carlisle in particular stated that he thought it would prove to be a divisive step.

I am struggling to find any good reason for the Ferdinand's plan - Is that cos I is white?

What??? You are confusing yourself. rofl

Is KIO being shoved in your face? At Every game? No it's not. Are you forced to wear a badge or take a leaflet? No. They have certain weekends when they are allowed to highlight the issues. There's about 30-40 black players who feel something's still aren't right.

Terry is a nasty piece of sh*t that admitted to using the words to make a point of colour. He could've just called him a ****, but he added the black bit first, which, under FA rules, is inappropriate. If Terry was that sure he was innocent, why didn't he appeal?

i dont like terry for many reason, mainly his arrogant, self righteousness. He was cleared in court of racially abusing, the fa are doing him for saying it,not directing it,if not why didnt the court of law punish him for it? as i put in a previous post,if its thrown at him that he directly called someone "a black *****",then i dont see why he should punished for saying "i didnt call anyone a black *****" in his defence.Ive not taken sides to if he has or hasnt.i wouldnt put it past him and wouldnt be surprised if he did intentionally directed it at him,but a court of law cleared him of it

Rio Ferdinand

Read the charges. They're different.

he either racially abused him or not.Either the court is right or wrong.if wrong, then why wasnt sufficient evidence brought in by the fa

This is like watching a game of tennis... :pop:

Rio Ferdinand

Mark McCammon ws on Radio 5 this morning talking about this....

I heard that, he didn't seem to have a clue as to exactly what he wanted. Was he abused at Gillingscum because of his colour or the fact that he is one of the worst centre forwards that they had ever signed?

Rio Ferdinand

I was a bit puzzled by this affair, albeit from a lengthy distance. It seems that the FA has hired people to sit in judgement in a case brought their clients against a football player. Is that a fair description?

I recently brought an appeal against a California County that had overcharged my property tax over a twenty year period. I's not a court but the Santa Clara County's own attorney's and their representatives sat in judgement of their own organization's decision, which the reviewing committee supported, to pay me just one fifth of the overcharged taxes which they admitted was caused by their own clerical error. It seems that the John Terry case could have been similarly conducted.

Rio Ferdinand

****ers!!! That is well out of order. Take it to the Supreme court CB

Rio Ferdinand

...............struck by an object at Man City.............did it strike his lips????????...........

Rio Ferdinand

Can't believe in his quest for even more exposure he threw himself in front of that coin.

Rio Ferdinand

Oh and before the high and ****ing mighty brigade on here kick off just remember how Brentford fans felt with Rowlands at Loftus Road that evening. Rio was properly giving it to City's fans.

I was there, and as much as I despise Rowlands I would never ever throw anything at a football player :nono:

Your restraint is admirable but there are plenty on this board who have done in the past in the heat of the moment.

If you're accusing me of throwing objects at players, put up or shut up.

I'll give you a short time to apologise. Don't bother deleting, copies taken which will be admissible in court.

Rio Ferdinand

Are there still club employees/officials who have fallen foul of the police at football matches in the past these days?

In another tweet, referring to Hart stepping in to the fray, Ferdinand added: "Respect to Joe Hart for protecting that idiot who ran on!! Love the banter between fans but there is a point when it goes too far...calm it!"

Ferdinand is the first to look for someone to hold him back.

Rio Ferdinand

Initially thought he accidently hit himself in the face. Then it became apparent that they were celebrating in front of the City supporters :nono:

Obviously the moron shouldn't have thrown what he did, but United players should have known better...

Rio Ferdinand

If only abee was here to get involved with too

Rio Ferdinand

Never condone anybody throwing anything but thought he was pretty stupid to big it up in front of the City fans at such a key moment in the match.

Rio Ferdinand

Haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like Gary Neville vs Liverpool (?).

Neville a lifelong Manc playing against the team he considers his main rivals.

Duck Face is a career footballing whore, who has followed the money.

Rio Ferdinand

I quite like Rio , especially when he scored for my country against Denmark in 2002 and did that crazy dance.....made me dance too!

Rio Ferdinand

City fans behaved like a bunch of tossers.End of.
Get beat then grow some.Chucking sh*t at players is bang out of order no matter who it is.

Rio Ferdinand

CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP, Milk chocolate with a caramel center, Milk chocolate with a caramel center, your not a bees fan if you havn't chucked something at a northerners head ;-)

Rio Ferdinand

just seen this on MOTD2. good on Rio for giving it the biggun to the home fans when ManU get an injury time winner and good on the fans for throwing sh*t at him. a win-win situation for both parties; a victimless crime. who is complaining? the nosey bloody FA, banana and the old bill. typical. kick women out of football. you never heard stanley matthews, terry evans, bobby moore, pele or sylvester stallone complain about being hit in the eyes by coins did you?! #thebeautifulgame
