Depends how you view that one, it was a tricky kick just out of comfortable reach which if he had come out and missed could well have been a goal, as it was he stayed on his line and was well placed to picked it up.
Goalkeeping is about making judgements like this, you could say it was luck but in any event he got it right.
He was getting some stick from a few on the Ealing which I found hard to understand to be honest. A couple of off key kicks does not make a bad game, his handing was pretty safe to me.
Giving him abuse as he is about to take a kick seems pretty stupid thing to do IMHO.

with Abbey second post-Nelson. I said at the time that we dropped Abbey far too early, before we'd even had a chance to scout someone else. I thought it was a bit of a disrespect to the service he'd put in as he personally saved a few more 4-0 spankings last season.
