Ticket availability

Ticket availability

Semi related question. If you have a ticket in the North Stand can you access the facilities in the West Stand.

I have a ST, but my uni based son doesnt. I can forsee a time when he wants to go and we can get a ticket, but it's in the West Stand. Usually, even in sold out games, you can find a couple of unoccupied seats that people are using, allowing us to sit together. Or at least we could meet up at HT

Ticket availability

Aslong as we are able to go most teams will be 3k tickets for away fans

Ticket availability

.....as an example....say we get man u,spurs,Arsenal away on a Mon or Fri night.....and say the demand for tickets from home supporters is reduced....does this mean that these clubs could....in theory....increase away allocation should there be demand.

Ticket availability

And that’s important for trying to keep out away fans.
If someone in, say, West Yorkshire buys a first time Bees Membership at the start of the season, but subsequently only attends the Leeds United game at the BCS (home section), would that get flagged up if he/she tried to renew the following season?

(Assuming Leeds hadn't got relegated, that is ;))

No. It just doesn't happen.

I feel seen. There are W Yorks based Bees you know (also I’m on their ticketing database and only go to Bees games there).

The name of the club will.
I admire that you didn’t bite on that one. Really appreciate all your help in the build up to the final from you and Hobbsy, you have the patience of saints.

I know that, but I was careful to say a first-time member - you presumably are already known to BFC from past attendance etc.

Ticket availability

I have just been on the phone with a couple of question. For season tickets they are not at the moment on open sale , you have to register your interest , then later you will be contacted,
The second question I asked was about Car Parking Prices for next season and was told that would come out to season ticket holders some time this July

Register your interest how and where exactly ?

Ticket availability

Now Bournemouth are in the Championship
Brentford will be ABLE to offer the lowest allocation out of all 20 PL clubs to away fans

It could be as low as 1700
But the club may decide on a higher number for segregation

When the Ground was designed it was thought we could offer a bigger away allocation for some Championship Clubs !!

There were three numbers on the plans for each level (I can't find them now), that were the 'normal' number, the FA cup number and the league cup number, based on the segregation.

Thanks. Good to have a bit more dialogue than a generic reply. Hopefully we'll hear more on ST's soon and how they'll sell extras.

I have just seen a tweet that says if you have cleared any outstanding balance you are ok to get next seasons ticket, sure I read
somewhere the club was going to e.mail to let us know what we owed and when to pay (I attended Blackburn game), anyone know if that is
correct?

Surely you should know if you attended the Blackburn game! How drunk were you?

Have managed to find the ticket order on the BFC site and paid up (not due till end June) but cleared it up now, I guess
the promised e.mail would have turned up in the next few weeks. #119

I hope we do offer just this figure and make sure we have more season tickets holders. I would have thought the old bill would want a lower figure too.

Wouldn't it be 1725, 10% of 17,250?
Not much different though.

I think that will be the case

It’d also depend on access and segregation for the blocks so might not be exactly 10%. I expect this was designed in to the ground assumptions.

Ticket availability

Looking at the grey areas for non-STs on the stadium plan, those getting in the central upper block in the East Stand will have great seats. Excellent view from above and behind the goal and the chance to bait the away fans.

Ticket availability

Yes, members before season ticket holder's mates
Hence why I'm buying my partner a membership when they come out so on the rare occasion she fancies going with me there is at least a small chance I can get her a ticket. Probably if we can combine an away game with some shopping ;)

Out of Interest I have seen Arsenal away tickets are being sold by Chelsea

2873 only

You would think with 60,000 capacity you would get the full 3000 allocation ???

Ticket availability

If I was one of the 127 who missed out on TAPS that would be really annoying

I haven't seen the announcement but

Could it be slightly reduced due to the need for greater segregation / police presence?
Could 2873 be a whole block and it would be harder to steward 127 more people? (this one seems a bit tenuous)
Could it be that Chelsea have retained 127 for their own staff etc to use and 2873 are going on sale to fans?

Yes to everything, also for clubs like Arsenal who sell a very large percentage of their seats as ST's, the red zone will have an impact in all grounds. Fans will have to move somewhere which may have a slight knock on effect on away allocations.

Ticket availability

Just reading the Villa tickets thread about general availability of away tickets this season and this is how I would rank demand/competition for tickets. (It's based upon kick-off times that are currently in the diary rather than those that will/might/probably get moved):

1. Liverpool (can move to any kick off time and still be top 2)
2. Man Utd (ditto above)
3. Spurs
4. Everton
5. West Ham
6. Chelsea
7. Palace
8. Arsenal
9. Watford
10. Man City (would be at 6 if it wasn't midweek)
11. Leicester
12. Southampton
13. Villa
14. Leeds
15. Brighton
16. Newcastle
17. Wolves
18. Burnley
19. Norwich

Think newcastle will be a lot more popular than that imho

That’s a fair list.

A message to everyone. Get to Goodison Park while you can. Beautiful old school ground.

A useful list for those of us without too much away experience.

Have always assumed I wouldn't qualify for Watford so gives an idea of reasonable expectations

Old school certainly, but "beautiful" only for traditionalists (imo).

In my experience (esp away section), it's also dark and cramped, with poor views and facilities etc.

My in-laws are devout Evertonians, and they love Goodison the way Bees fans loved Griffin Park. But they've long accepted that it's way past its sell-by date and that they need to move.

Beautiful is objective so please don’t chime in to try and invalidate my opinion on that. The lower tier in the away end is fine. How about enjoying yourself instead?

I wasn't "invalidating" your opinion, merely expressing my own.

How about enjoying yourself instead?
How about you stop taking everything personally instead?

P.S. I'm a traditionalist myself.

isn't is "subjective" rather than "objective"? asking for a friend.

Good shout this. As others have said Newcastle will be higher up and I think Leicester will be higher than Arsenal (most experience of the Emirates was blah) as not done an away day there since 1993.

Ticket availability

Just a thought but would it make sense for the club to reach out to STH in the same way as they did for members and ask them the likelihood that they will attend a certain away game? That way they could gauge demand and potentially change the TAPS tranches accordingly? It would mean a quicker ticket selling process and maybe mean we might actually receive our tickets before the game...
