Ticket availability

Good shout this. As others have said Newcastle will be higher up and I think Leicester will be higher than Arsenal (most experience of the Emirates was blah) as not done an away day there since 1993.
Yep, probably true regarding Newcastle. We probably need two tables - one based upon Saturday 3pm k/o times and another upon midweek 8pm k/o’s. I would expect Newcastle to have one of the biggest variances between those two tables.

Yep and think you got it spot on with Man City being a midweek game.

I can't do Palace and Aston Villa due to work. I'd do them all if I could. Sitting at 2k Taps so hoping to do Wolves coming up. Depending on allocation I probably won't get West Ham tickets and then Burnley is a ground I want to tick off.

Ticket availability

Just a thought but would it make sense for the club to reach out to STH in the same way as they did for members and ask them the likelihood that they will attend a certain away game? That way they could gauge demand and potentially change the TAPS tranches accordingly? It would mean a quicker ticket selling process and maybe mean we might actually receive our tickets before the game...
To ensure it’s validity, I suspect it would be worthwhile consulting STH’s wives (/husbands) on the actual ‘likelihood they will attend’

Ticket availability

Old school certainly, but "beautiful" only for traditionalists (imo).

In my experience (esp away section), it's also dark and cramped, with poor views and facilities etc.

My in-laws are devout Evertonians, and they love Goodison the way Bees fans loved Griffin Park. But they've long accepted that it's way past its sell-by date and that they need to move.
Which is exactly why we all need to go to Goodson Park!!!

Ticket availability

Just reading the Villa tickets thread about general availability of away tickets this season and this is how I would rank demand/competition for tickets. (It's based upon kick-off times that are currently in the diary rather than those that will/might/probably get moved):

1. Liverpool (can move to any kick off time and still be top 2)
2. Man Utd (ditto above)
3. Spurs
4. Everton
5. West Ham
6. Chelsea
7. Palace
8. Arsenal
9. Watford
10. Man City (would be at 6 if it wasn't midweek)
11. Leicester
12. Southampton
13. Villa
14. Leeds
15. Brighton
16. Newcastle
17. Wolves
18. Burnley
19. Norwich
I was hoping the fact Spurs is on a Wednesday would mean more availability. Guess not?

I suspect a midweek game will always discount some being able to go but not as strongly when it's London / a local one.

For what it's worth I reckon this is the pecking order of demand. Everton, Man City and Newcastle are probably the ones that will feel a midweek k/o stronger than all the others.

You can get home from Norwich via rail on the night and also Wolves, not at Newcastle or Burnley.

Although Newcastle is an attractive enough away fixture to warrant an overnighter for many.

Doesn't the Night Caledonian stop at Newcastle?

No. It goes up/down the West Coast Main Line, doesn't even pass through Newcastle.

Preston, Crewe and Carlisle however....

Got email today saying Brighton tickets available from 2pm. Logged in now and not showing as available to me. Theyve all been sold ?

It was a long time ago when I used it, about 40 years when holidaying near Inverness.

Don't want to step on anybody's thread-starting toes but bunfight tickets for Norwich for all members go on sale at 2pm today...

Edit: FFS, spent ages refreshing to see if a new thread had been started an' all

Apologies if this is wrong place for it, but can anyone provide a bit of clarity around the buying process on the exchange?
Tickets can now be listed at any time. Today's ticket update states "My Bees Members will have the chance to purchase any listed tickets on the Ticket Exchange on a first-come, first-served basis." is it now just permanently open to buy and sell and hope for the best?
I understand the change to be able to list at any time is best practice for the sellers, but surely having a window/start date for purchasing is best practice for the buyers?

You should be able to buy as soon as the match is "sold out", and you should be able to buy right up to kick-off. For some reason the club has closed the exchange a few days before the match for no good reason. So we'll see what happens this time.

? Okay, let's see how that works in practice.
I guess Chelsea and Leicester can go live any time now then? Maybe I've missed it..

Keeping it open right up to KO and being able to list them at all times are excellent and appreciated changes.
Might just be me who likes the idea of a buyers window being more orderly..

Agree.
Would be good to know when the TE purchase window opens.
A bit more than 2 hours advance notice might be nice too.....
Or, as you say, is it already open?..........
No games showing up last time I looked....

Yeah, I've checked fairly frequently and haven't seen either of them listed. They aren't now. Weren't at the time they sent the email or at this press release. The only 'official news' I've seen mentioning the TE for either of those games is the text in #180 "will be sold first come, first serve" ??‍♂️

Do we think Brighton at 8pm on Boxing Day may now see it slip to the bottom of the list? Mainly wondering because the later time actually makes it more likely I'll be able to go, but unlikely I'll have enough TAPs to get in on the first round of sales to members.

If that isn’t easier to get tickets for than Burnley away I’ll eat my figurative hat.

Think this'll be the game Zanka buys a pint for those turning up

Boxing Day at 8.00pm wow. I used to like the 11.00 am KO's. Sobered you up after the Christmas Day binge ready for the pub and then another grub fest.

If you want a ticket for this you will get one.
Getting to the ground is the issue.
No trains, no buses, no parking.
I accepted Boxing Day, but 8 in the evening?

If there are no trains, no buses and no parking - how will anyone get to the game? Genuinely asking as I was planning on going :(

Park and ride from Mill Road Brighton or the racecourse, but that will be good for 1100 cars only.
Supporters coach.
Can they pick me up on the way?
Pease Pottage services.
Or drive into Brighton and literally walk, but finding the nearest place to park with out restrictions is so far not easy.

Car parking at the ground and Falmer University. One way In one way out.
Game should be on the 27th.
