On my final warning
Tottenham (A)
A good 25 minutes - not ideal but gets you away for certain. How far is the walk to Seven Sisters mate? I can’t remember where we all went in 1992 - was it there?

?I got the coach that night with my dad
?
Ps. What a movie. 9.5/10
My journey there was quite eventful as I was nearly arrested by plain clothes coppers, who were looking to nab a youth for a spate of burglaries in my local area. When they showed me the photo fit I was almost inclined to agree it was me given my resemblance to the photo!I went with my Dad. I was in the last year of junior school and got very angry with the teacher when she announced some homework at the end of the day due the next morning. I said I couldn’t possibly get it done as I had a very important football match to attend for which I needed to leave straight after school and wouldn’t be home until gone midnight.
I vividly remember that the homework assignment was to come up with somethng, a drawing or whatever, that represented at least one thousand of something. I walked up to her desk the following morning and handed in a scribbled picture entitled “5,000 Brentford Fans”

It was 1992, give me a break! They thought you were a youth?

If travelling back into London wouldn't it work better to head up the line to Silver St station to get a seat and miss the queues at WHL?Bloke at work has suggested Theobalds Grove to WHL - 12 minute journey, decent car park at Theobalds - I'm aware WHL could be busy after so maybe walk down to Bruce Grove (about 15 minutes) - any commuters from the North of London got any thoughts?
I would say that was a pretty accurate descriptionA friend described the stadium as "like someone landed a spaceship in the sh*ttest part of town". You can be the judge of that of course.

.....it ACTUALLY does look like a spaceship on Google maps.I've been to Spurs three times since the Bees last played there...always night games. Once at the new ground.
Walked back to Tottenham Hale last time, it was a bit of a walk but absolutely fine.
This was for a sold out PL game in January 2020. Next time I will do a vlog of the experience to settle any future disputes over route optimisation.
On another occasion I recall walking to Seven Sisters and that also being fine i.e. no queues by the time I arrived.

There are direct trains that are non stop Cheshunt to Northumberland Park. Just checked Trainline. Intend parking in Station Car Park for a fiver and then training it.Ive decided to drive to Cheshunt , got a parking space 5 mins from station for a fiver odd then 6 stops on overground to white Hart Lane . Happy days
I can’t believe this place is in London! Easier to get to Southampton
