Used to work as an agent in Ealing and have checked with 3x agents that i know there and hes not registered with them and theyre pretty big. Maybe his agent looks on his behalf, who knows?

Maybe they are just adhering to the data protection act. ;)

Hello Ken :wave::wave::wave:

I've checked in at the local Greggs the baker and there have definitely not been any extra Scot's in town.

And the local Fish & Chip shops havent had enquiries as to whether they do deep fried mars bars!

I did hear some bagpipes on the wind - a mournful tune cast across the Grand Union canal which might suggest that he'll take some time to settle. :(

Scott Robertson

you say a fee is being paid.. he's out of contract and up for a bosman?

No he never. Search back. Fee was about a previous player.

Scott Robertson

From my contacts he will be signing on a 2 year contract in the morning, very good news.

Scott Robertson

Be delighted if we did sign him especially if that means he did actually choose us over Ipswich.

Scott Robertson

I believe he will sign, it's the fact he chose us over Ipswich which is laughable

I know. I appreciated that you were referring to the Ipswich bit. I'm just going by what I've read and what their fans thought (going by Twitter).

Scott Robertson

Why laughable??

I can't answer for anyone but I read it as if Ipswich offer the same terms and same length of contract, do you think he'd choose us over them. If he chooses us then surely we've added something that they haven't, maybe an extra year, a hotel until he finds his feet, a night with Kettering Bee or a Smiffy burger everytime he scores......the list is endless but few footballers would go for a League One outfit if a Championship club really went out to get them, would they?

Is that a Smiffyburger for every night he scores with Kettering Bee in his hotel that the club have provided ? He'll have a huge gut and Mr KB a very sore ar se

That's exactly my point. Unless maddogging knows the terms of the contract offered to him by Ipswich and us ( if we have, and I have a warm fuzzy feeling that we have). How can anyone/ maddogging say it's laughable.

Agreed. Plus no one has mentioned that idea that maybe a potential difference is we made more effort to get him to sign. Players like to feel wanted.

Maybe he's always wanted to play with Pim Balkestein?

Kettering Bee is currently wearing his 'not amused look'
