Final Whistle. 4-4
Scorers were Hacker, Oyeleke and McGeechan (2 - turns out the former Bolton man is a striker not a defencer)

Really decent start. Could have easily gone there and rolled over.

We were told it was behind closed doors, a lot of people seemed to be there watching ..... could have gone !!!! :mad1:![]()
Were we?
It was at their training ground, so you may have had difficulty getting in, but I'm sure if you asked they might have allowed you in. Those watching were probably family of the players.
Interesting that this guy played for us....

heres hoping 1 or 2 of the development make the bench this season
Are we entered in any competitive games for the Development squad? I ask because having looked at other teams fixtures for their development squads some are entering regional cup competitions. For example Manchester City are in the Manchester Senior cup. Could we not enter the Middlesex Senior Cup or London? Teams like AFC Wimbledon, Met Police, Bromley, Hendon, Welling, Kingstonian will be entering (the LSC) which would give the team a chance to play some fairly decent teams in competitive matches. Obviously these teams are not going to be the same level as Liverpool etc, but the games won't be friendlies and these guys will give them a much more physical test which would surely be a benefit.
Non league players tend to use these games as an excuse to kick pro players up in the air.
Wouldn't mind entering these cups but we are then bound by registration and discipline issues etc.
I think that is a good idea. Are we entered in any competitive games for the Development squad?
