On the basis that he wants to revert to his proper weight, and become world champion, Benn has ruled it out.

At least until Warren or Hearn stumps up some more money, I should think.

No need for a trilogy I wouldn't have thought, Chris should never have done the 2nd fight tbh and Conor needed redemption. The pointless saga is over.

What worries me a little bit about boxing at the moment is there's not enough talk of Moses Itauma or Usyk, but there's loads of talk for AJ, Jake Paul and/or Tyson Fury.

Can we get back to the belts now please?

Nothing much more to add to this- completely agree. Fights like Eubank - Benn (the 1st one at least) provide a bit of entertainment at the time but without the belts and the titles etc, they’re completely hollow. It’d be like 2 rival footballs teams that hadn’t faced each other for a long time playing a trilogy of friendlies - the first one might be quite fun but ultimately it’s manufactured and meaningless.

YouTubers cos playing as professional boxers in exhibition fights is turning boxing into a circus. AJ will destroy Jake Paul if he ever gets in the ring with him which is doubtful - bear in mind Paul was supposed to fight Gervonta Davis who resides at 135 lbs 🤣

Can't remember the last time I watched a fight for a belt. Too many "show fights" these days, although I did enjoy the Connor Benn v Chris Eubank Jr fights (particularly the first one).

True although this has the feel of an exhibition fight about it so he'll probably toy with him for a bit or just string it out to the end if he gets paid enough.

If it is the same as Joshua v Ngannou then he knocks him out the first time he lands clean which is likely in the first 30 seconds...

There have been some great title fights this year.

Canelo vs Crawford.
Dmitry Bivol vs Artur Beterbiev 2
Taylor vs Serrano 3

Shame these influencers/YouTubers are the ones getting the most attention.

Hopefully Joshua flattens fake Paul and we get Joshua vs Fury.

I am far from a fan of the Saudis,but they are putting the money in and getting the fights we all want to see.

I don't like AJ, and his career ended up not delivering all that it promised, but I don't blame him at all for taking £37m for less than ten minutes work

Yes and he is holding the folding and is the director of this whole theatre show.
If he wants fighters to fight then he gets them too fight.
The promoters have to bow too this man because of the money and clout they now wield.They cannot say no and we get to see the fights we want.
And of course we have a new World Champion in Fabio Wardley as Usyk gave up his WBO belt.
The Sauds will set up his first defence for next March,probably,and it will be a defence i hope he wins.
Its a great time for the sport.

Agreed, that fight needed to happen at least 2/3 years ago.

No real interest in it now.

Currently watch the DAZN card in Riyadh. Mason v Noakes was very enjoyable.

Mason by 3 for me.

Yep. 1 judge had him 117-111. 2 others had 115-113.
