Love Tony, but his biggest weaknesses is Haye's biggest strength. However, ill be hoping that his bad intentions and power can keep Haye and bay and discourage him. As was said on SKY, it would only be competitive at cruiserweight, and Haye would need to lose a leg to make weight.

Boxing

Boxing equivalent of a lively FA Cup tie of old. Bellew's only chance is a Ronnie Radford style 1 in a million punch.

9 times out of 10 Haye would school him and sit him on his backside.

Boxing

If Haye takes it seriously and is "right" for the fight he will outclass Bellew but the latter has a fighters chance while Haye is still enjoying being a celebrity.

Boxing

That didn't take long! Easy for Joshua.

Whyte beat Chisora on a split decision. A real fight that one.

Boxing

Best night of boxing I've seen in ages. Joshua fight wasnt a contest. The fights before were very good indeed with some huge KOs.
Whyte V Chisora stole the show. Fantastic heavyweight contest.
Yafai becomes latest world title holder. :sorted:

Fell asleep, watching the repeat now so please don't post up any more details for a few hours. Many thanks.

Looking forward to Haye v Bellow. I would love to see Bellow put Haye on his backside but sadly I think the old saying of a good biggun beats a good littleun will prove to be true next Saturday.

Hating the comments by Haye. Hope they don't come back to haunt him.

How on earth can you want that scouse tit to win ?

Come on Haye , more importantly i imagine there may be some Everton turn out at Spurs on Sunday

Boxing

The Scouse seems like a **** but I can't stand David haye. Never known someone to be so far up their own arse. Haye will win though I'm afraid...

I dint think i have hated anyones voice more than bellew

I like the cut of his jib.

Boxing

IMO Haye vs Bellew is even more of a physical mismatch than Canelo vs Khan and Brook vs Golovkin - I cant help but feel that Bellew has massively bitten off more than he can chew here. This is going to be another fun night of boxing for what is shaping up to be the most entertaining year in terms of matchups that I can remember for a long, long time

Boxing

any idea what time it will start roughly ?

Boxing

Would imagine the main event will start at around 10pm.
A packed undercard and fights that go the scheduled disctance will likely mean further delays.

Nice one , be back from Ipswich in local ready

There will be quality scenes in The Inn by that time on Saturday mate....:bound::bound:

To make sure that the right man is supported in 'The Inn' you may like to remind your drinking partners who Haye purports to support.

Good point, those Bermondsey types not very welcome in that part of south Essex....

Boxing

At the end of the day, it's a Londoner against a Micky and a good big un nearly always beats a good little un... I hope Haye puts the scouser on his arse

p.s. Joshua would wipe the floor with either of them and i wouldn't be adverse to seeing him do that to Haye

Boxing

It's just hype otherwise there would be little or no interest in a fight that should be on the undercard. Sorry but never siding with a bin dipper.

Boxing

I'd like to see Haye fight Wilder.
Winner of that fight to take on winner of Joshua / Klitschko.

Boxing

Does anyone NOT think he's a twaat?

Most boxers are ***** I think. A very ego filled sport but it's part of the package I suppose. Can be a refreshing change from the cliche of football. I hate haye even more though because he tries to act really intelligent. The joey Barton of the boxing world I suppose

Boxing

Want Haye to knock him out. They're nasty so and so's. Thurman v Garcia should be a good fight too

Boxing

Come on David :box:

Boxing

Does anyone NOT think he's a twaat?

No not really and they are both looking pretty terrible PR wise, but I can see why he is irritated by Bellew thinking he will do anything to him. I think the real issue here is that Haye is going to try and really hurt him, if you look at the difference in their physiques it's scary. Yes, they are going to be fighting at near enough the same weight but the muscle density that Haye is punching with is obscene compared to Bellew to be honest.

Boxing

Bellew doesn't have the physique to withstand Haye's power.

I'll be staggered if Haye doesn't win by KO within 6 rounds. Inactivity with Haye will be his achilles heel.
Bellew is the sort of fighter that will stand toe to toe and won't run away. If he goes with this tactic he will get tagged and will get stopped.

Boxing

Does anyone seriously think Bellew can win this?

Won a vacant title against a 19 fight novice, defended it against an American pudding who came to lay down, was destroyed by Adonis Stevenson (no shame in that though) and couldn't even put Nathan Cleverly away.

He can dig though so you have to give him a punchers chance, but Haye would have to be a shadow of his former self for TB to get anywhere near him.

:sorted: If Haye has prepared at all it should be a mismatch, if he's not too rusty he will be far too powerful for Bellew who will get battered if he plans to go toe to toe.

Boxing

Seemed like Bellew was pooing himself in the press conference after haye said he will destroy him within what's legal. Bellew playing the personal aspect down saying it's not personal he just wants to win... Hmmmm

Boxing

I genuinely dont know how good Haye is now, his comeback fights have been against dire opponents. Bellew has slightly more than a punchers chance and has the heart for it. Haye should win but I have a sneaky feeling that Bellew is going to win it.
