Who is this Gary
I would hope that the management have their eye on a striker that we can buy in the January Transfer window.

How about Tom Lawrence from Leicester? I understand that they are looking for him to go out and get experience on loan.
From reports I understand Ipswich, Blackburn and Cardiff all vying for the Wales Under 21 international's signature. Worth a look or a gamble considering his tender age?
I remember him playing in that one game for Ryan Giggs at Manchester United v's Hull and remember him looking decent.

I can't wait for the fourth Thursday in November to pass and we've not signed a top striker... Magic will explode!

I may explode, but if Andre got injured on the 29th the whole board would explode. NP upfront for a month before we could get anybody, NO please not.
We need and will get a least 1 more forward before the window shuts
I hope your right Beast, but we have been one short since Hogan's injury.
You have an almost incredible ability to state the bleedin obvious ad nauseam. If as you have intimated earlier there is a danger of you exploding should Andre get injured please would you ensure that you are not sitting anywhere near the middle section of New Road as I do not much fancy being showered with the resulting crap.

Told you all already. Are you no listen?
Afobe finishes his loan with the mongs in Jan. Has scored goals, fits the profile we go after and suits our system. We will let Grigg remain at MK on the basis that they don't go back in for Afobe. Instead he will come to us and join his Arsenal pals Nico and Jon.
Close thread.
What is there for magicbees to do, if you close this thread?
I can't see us getting anyone else in at the moment, they would just be warming the bench, unless anything happens to Gray then I think we would
address the issue, have to wait and see what happens with Grigg in December, think we may have to move people out to allow for new recruits
(FFP)
Be very surprised if that happens we have 6 games between the loan window closing and and the transfer window opening, and should Gray get injured or suspended we would only have Proschwitz to replace him, so can't see us taking a risk as we would be ****ed for six games, if Gray twists an ankle in training the day before Wolves. Furthermore Gray looked knackered towards the end of the Milwall game, he can't be expected to take the whole burden on himself without support.

It'll be forwards.
Bet he would like Neil Warnock as manager. He used to collect forwards for fun when at Sheff Utd and Leeds.

And we have done very well indeed, my worry is, I hate to think what subject you are going to punish us with when thread closes, (will it be Goalkeepers or the Burgers/Onions) although in a warped sort of way I can't wait for your next chapter!!!!!
When people talk about forwards, I always read 'Dallas', 'Smith', 'Moore' all mentioned. They are not strikers.
We have 4 strikers: Gray, Hogan (injured), Nick P, Betinho.
you're right. people go on about Dallas as the stand in main striker, no way. I like him a lot but he's a wide player and I just don't understand how anyone can come to the conclusion that he can play a lone striker role like Andre, he's never played there ( for us anyway). I agree we have the 4 strikers which are the ones you listed...............

Just weird that Betinho seems to be nowhere near good enough.

Maybe the fact that he would seem to be nowhere close to making the first eleven ?
I have it on good authority we wanted Dwight Gayle but Palace didn't want to let him go.
What on earth is that assumption based on?
I'm also nowhere near good enough. Do you find that weird? :looks:

Going to wolves
