This third IT20 seems to have slipped under the radar.

Great start from Bairstow and Malan, England then lost their way slightly, and may have been disappointed not to have got over 200, but 180 is going to be more than enough as SL have crashed to 64-6, with just over 7 overs left.

Not really a surprise as it is a very inexperienced SL side.

Makes a mockery of the recent selection policies that we have an almost full strength side out against a poor Sri Lanka side for a pretty meaningless t20 series yet we don't have out strongest side available for the recent test series against India and New Zealand.

In the County Champs, Kent have had to pick a completely new XI, à la England, for their game against Sussex, and now Derbyshire/Essex has been abandoned, both for COVID reasons. This could be a difficult few months to finish the season.

20 or so years ago, there was a definite noticeable air of tension at games between England and Pakistan, India and even to a certain degree v W Indies, amongst "home" and "away" supporters, when I used to go.
These days, it seems that everyone can feel comfortable expressing their feelings and their delight at the goings on in the game without any worries or threat from other fans.
And I think that's fantastic!!!! ?

Just been watching the buildup to the Hundred. It's one of the most dismal fake trendy cool programmes I've ever seen. Def 2 for people who think IQ is a way of telling people you're in SW London on your mobile. But more rubbish.

Dreadful commentary- the worst since that idiot in I think the 2012 Paralympics ceremony - (who cares about Greg James being trapped in a camper van? He's BBC radio not a cricketer). Droning on about him was a waste of time. It also seemed to be slower than T20. My toes are now permanently curled.
