Yes, but if you watch his 6 balls bowled virtually to him. It was slightly more informative than that.

Only fair to report what an outstanding innings by Dean Elgar. His last test series before he retires and his average in test match cricket does not do him justice what a wonderful test match batsmen he has been for SA. From an Indian perspective poor overall bowling on that pitch and if (if only) we had Shami fit for this test series. SA after day 2 very much on top.

Elgar finally out for 185. Top innings and his concentration levels superb. Well played and SA well on top against what is looking like a tired Indian side already.

Rubbish from India. Made an average SA team look great. Apart from Kohli (again) and Rahul first innings the batting has been sh*t. Bowling was awful with the exception of Bumrah. A Rohit led test team away is a different fish compared to a Kohli led test team away. But well done overall SA - Rabada and Elgar standouts for them and deserved thrashing of India.

Oh well time to get some winter sun.

I was listening to this on the radio, and even the Australian Co-Commentator said it shouldn't have been given out.

you just CANT give that out. There was no inconclusive evidence to suggest otherwise. Where is the benefit of the doubt and in the batsmen favour. Absolutely rubbish decision that again favoured the Aussies.

Not sure about that. But you can't go to SA and not have a warm up game before a test. I understand about the schedule of international cricket but I miss the days when teams went on tours in a test match series and had a warm up games or two. Only batting players like Kohli, Smith and Williamson in the last decade and the three best of their generation in test cricket who have proved themselves in every surface can cope without warm up games. The rest are blah ....

It does. But the bigger thing here was that SA cricket had its funding reduced by the ICC and had to sell the t20 franchise rights to the BCCI to exist. Low and behold it now has to do what the BCCI wants.

The ECB has given too much power to the hundred and now we have no cricket in August. Cricket hasn't looked at the long term future for a very long time and quite honestly it looks like it's f***ed.

Evans’ ahem mistake has probably cost him any Int chance but has been very good for a few seasons now, not exactly a youngster coming through though.
