They’re 2 points clear at the top if they hold onOr cos he's missing the chance to win the league? They're still in the mix right?
Can you get something showing the injury? I'm with Patto, he wouldn't be sitting there if it was serious... probably just knows he's done for the next few weeks i.e. rest of this season
Hope you're right. You don't sob like that unless it's serious though. Can you get something showing the injury? I'm with Patto, he wouldn't be sitting there if it was serious... probably just knows he's done for the next few weeks i.e. rest of this season
I don’t want to put a downer on it (and I haven’t seen the incident), but I remember Rico walking off the field at Newcastle when I expected him to be on a stretcher - so we will just have to wait and see what the scans show, etc. Fingers crossed that it isn’t as bad as it seems. Can you get something showing the injury? Not one to generalize are you,?Brazilians cry all the time....didn't realise they did scans on the bench
They’re top of the league on goal difference, he’s got 2 games left at the club, 1 of those being this weekend away at Anderlecht who are 2nd. It may well just be fear of missing that and potentially losing the title.Hope you're right. You don't sob like that unless it's serious though.

I don't think anyone will know at the moment. So people are on a wind up that may prove to be true.Has he done his ACL or are people on a wind up?
It’s merely a flesh wound.hes on the pitch now shaking hands with the oppo
Nobody will know the extent of an injury like that until the initial swelling has gone down and the appropriate scans undertaken.I'd be surprised if he was sat on the bench if it was an ACL injury. I'd expect him to be fully rested with ice packs back in the treatment room. Unless Bruges don't care about him now that's he played his last game for 'em!

We did say that about Rico. I sincerely hope this isn’t the same ?Nobody will know the extent of an injury like that until the initial swelling has gone down and the appropriate scans undertaken.
Rico walked off but straight down the tunnel. Thiago walking around pitch at the end shaking hands. Surely not an ACL ??We did say that about Rico. I sincerely hope this isn’t the same ?
They're letting Nusa play with one, apparently. Not watching but Please God, no professional football team is going to make a player they suspect may have an ACL injury sit on the bench for most of the game ?
And then walk back on to shake hands at full time…Not watching but Please God, no professional football team is going to make a player they suspect may have an ACL injury sit on the bench for most of the game ?
Doesn’t sound like it then ( not viewing the game unfortunately) it just couldn’t be serious…….. could it. As you say ????Rico walked off but straight down the tunnel. Thiago walking around pitch at the end shaking hands. Surely not an ACL ??
Just rub some deep heat on it, that will sort it out.Someone contact Roy Clare to see if he still has his bucket and sponge.
Hopefully he's just got a knock and we've got nothing to worry about, but there's not an awful lot you can do about torn ACLs for a good few days after. Not watching but Please God, no professional football team is going to make a player they suspect may have an ACL injury sit on the bench for most of the game ?
JoyClub Brugge post match conference. My Flemish is not very good, but the Brugge coach is asked about Thiago (6 min 15 secs) and he mentions ‘medial ligament’ (I think) with my perception that they need to see the scans, etc.
Joy
But quite how he knows that without x-ray eyes, I will never know
That sounds ok, we don’t need him to be match fit until AugustWell "we do not know whether he can play in the last two games" is about as positive an update as we can expect tonight.
Howdy pardner. Yeah, I think he was just winged. It’s merely a flesh wound.
Good idea. Put Mark Flekken up front you mean?To be fair when I did mine in I then went in goal for the rest of match!!
Lets just wait and see but I wouldn’t rule anything out yet.
No receipt. Hermes will just chuck him over next door's fence.Did we keep the receipt?
Followed a few weeks later by the dreaded "he's had a setback"...I'm not concerned until the start of July when Thomas announces its a minor knock. Then its serious.
