He is and always be a legend in my eyes. For me Thiago is the future of our club and I was simply trying to play on words by being "forward looking" that perhaps ?the sun will shine brighter with Igor for us! I guess Haaland would be a better option but the song still works. You Bees ? ?

Hope to be proven wrong, but to expect Igor to be a better striker than Haaland is not only a tall order, but probably unlikely, so maybe use someone we've been after in the past like Johnson?

I wouldn’t get too hung up on the words.

After all, we used to regularly proclaim that Jamie Bates was better than Pele, Cruyff and Beckenbauer.

Yes, fan does means fanatic - it does NOT means fantasist.
So while we can all enjoy the hope that the new IT will be a huge success for the Bees scoring hat-tricks in every game he plays, we shouldn’t let our fantasies lead us to an inevitable conclusion that a player who has not played a single second of Premier football will prove to be the new instant Messiah. Don’t pile too many high expectations on either the guy or yourself - just join me in hoping he might have a Haarland’esque effect.

Which is good as it allows him time to get match fit and adjust to our system. With less pressure/expectation.
