Well I sincerely hope it was the Waltzing Mathilda alternative. Will be very disappointed for @Aus Bee if not.which song did we use then??
…………….charming…………….He will be a Brentford legend even should he turn out to sh*t.- haha
Am I allowed to lay claim to this?Thi-ah-go, GO.

What i would LOVE to see im the next few games if CN is out is a 3-5-2 ofGotta say he looked the part. Physically imposing, winning headers, causing defense headaches. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Flekken had a consistent long ball target and had success pinging them out to Thiago. Absolutely massive to have the choice between playing short and playing long with success. Not sure he starts over Wissa, but I could see Jensen on the bench, Damsgaard CM, Wissa LW and Thiago at center. I know Wissa is best centrally but we absolutely have to get Thiago on the pitch
What a boost that must be for him to hear that. Well done everyone that travelled, he’s in no doubt we’re behind him.As predicted...
Hes better than Willian ?For some reason I don't like songs that mention how much we paid for a player?
Massive smile on his face at the end of the game. What a boost that must be for him to hear that. Well done everyone that travelled, he’s in no doubt we’re behind him.
Well done Nathan Collins for pushing him right out front to get the applause. Igor loved every moment of that. ?Thiago ?
Noticed the Everton ball boy having a selfie with Van Den BergThiago ?
Wear your frown upside down like Thiago! In just his brief appearance he has already shown ability to hold the ball, win headers, bring others in the game with flicks and passes, win fouls and generally scare opponents.
He was loving the reception he was getting and that grin.....View attachment 51440

great film, but we dont need that song..... cos we've got GOLD!To the tune of Brazil.... from the Terry Gilham film Brazil.

Now the headache begins for TF…
Does he start Igor straight off against Leicester? If so, what does that mean for Yoanne?
A front two of both perhaps but if Bryan is on the right, I don’t fancy Yoanne LW.
Tres interessant
Don't forget we have 9 games in a 5 week period coming up so I would expect some squad rotation providing we have enough fit players. Now the headache begins for TF…

It was so noticeable that the moment he and Schade came on, Flekken was looking to kick into the channel a la days of Toney and we suddenly had a potential out ball we haven't seen in monthsThere were three or four occasions where he won a foul, or a header, or kept the ball, where it would have otherwise come straight back at us so far this season… we have missed that so much since Ivan went and it’s so valuable. I’m not knocking Yoane or Bryan as they have done very well and have other attributes, but the ability to relieve pressure is so big at this level.
No way he will take Wissa's starting spot in the immediate future. He's been scoring regularly and scaring the hell out of defences. His is the shirt to lose at this point in my opinion. IT will get his time but he will need to earn it from the bench initiallyI think TF post match interview was quite telling.
Saying we wont see him at his best/fully ready for a month.
I suspect he will still be benched for Leicester.
Jimmy Glass?Using the metric of "minutes played", is he the player who has earned fully-fledged cult hero status the soonest? 45 minutes in a pre-season match and 20-odd on his competitive debut.
OK, I add another metric, being "a relative unknown upon signing".Jimmy Glass?
Fair. Bob Booker?OK, I add another metric, being "a relative unknown upon signing".
A bit before my time, but not a bad shout...three appearances in 1978-79 and I can safely assume the hat-trick on his first appearance of 1979-80, in December, immediately endeared him to the Griffin Park Faithful.Fair. Bob Booker?
A lot of factors for Igor yesterday. The extended signing period, the injury, relief at someone injured is finally back, then that towering header for his first touch!A bit before my time, but not a bad shout...three appearances in 1978-79 and I can safely assume the hat-trick on his first appearance of 1979-80, in December, immediately endeared him to the Griffin Park Faithful.
Hope he enjoys a little more pushing to the front for the lap of honour after the Leicester winWell done Nathan Collins for pushing him right out front to get the applause. Igor loved every moment of that. ?
What impressed me was he came on and stood right in front of Tarkowski and stuck to him. I presume this was a specific instruction – not to look for space but pin Tarky to defensive duties and minimise any opportunity for him to get forward, given their “crosses” all seemed to be aimed at the far post where he normally positions himself. Schade got quite close and they seemed to be working together for Flekken’s deliveries, Igor pinning Tarky and Kevin going for the header. Not the ideal circumstances to make your debut, but he did very well when he came on.
And Bryan doesn’t even have one ?I love the madness of it, he’s barely played twenty minutes of a league match and already has two songs! ?
Also, he is the last person defenders want to see coming off the bench all fresh on 60 minutes. No way he will take Wissa's starting spot in the immediate future. Cult figure. Used to love the Booker chantA bit before my time, but not a bad shout...three appearances in 1978-79 and I can safely assume the hat-trick on his first appearance of 1979-80, in December, immediately endeared him to the Griffin Park Faithful.
Seemed to be his mum, partner, along with Nunes’s girlfriend in the seats behind us.His wife & what may have been his Mother or MiL was in the crowd amongst the Bees fans!
We hebben ThiagoAnyone know if he had a song at Club Brugge? Maybe it'll translate...
