Much as I hate to defend him, didn't we find it amusing when Flintoff,KP etc did a vaguely similar thing after the Ashes and then helped out the Downing St gardener by watering the roses?

If king Kev had sang the my old man song about fulham it would of been played on here for years to come! I think it was brilliant and hope when we have our open top parade at the end of the coming season I hope there all singing anti Rangers and Fulham songs

Do you know that "Spurs" (club or fans) actually complained?
It was in public, with TV cameras in attendance and (presumably) people recording/tweeting on their phones etc, which I suspect was what caused the FA to intervene:
"He had received a formal warning from the FA’s disciplinary department, last year, when he did the same thing during the FA Cup celebrations and has been charged this time because it is a second offence."

I don't particularly warm to Wilshire as he comes across as a talented but spoilt brat who possesses ability but needs to be pampered.
Having said that the game yesterday felt like a complete non event and a testimonial game played with the same lack of commitment and pace so hard to single him out for criticism.

Wilsheres main problem is he wants to be "The skillful one", yet surrounded by Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla etc, doesn't look good enough.
Then he wants to be "The midfield enforcer", yet only weighs 8 stone dripping wet and whenever he makes a challenge it usually ends up in him being out injured for a month.
In my opinion he isn't good enough for England - or Arsenal for that matter.
I cant believe Wenger hasn't picked up 15 million + for a bloke thats played 100 games in 7 years and laughed all the way to the bank.

Give up, it's boring, you don't like him and you've probably good reason but if one of our players had sung a song about QPR after we'd won promotion on an open top bus parade he'd be viewed as a hero by oiks like me.

Well I really like him as a player and like to watch him play. As with many flair players he has a bit of a bad boy image (over egged IMHO), so what in my book.
He has more natural talent than the vast majority of players and if he gets injury free long term could be at the core of the England team long into the future

He needs to play more often for Arsenal. He is a very talented footballer, but he isn't gaining the experience he needs to become a great player. His positional discipline is a problem, though it is one he is aware of.
I'm not too fussed about his off-field high-jinks. Like sonofabee says, if a Brentford player did similar, I would find it very amusing.
