He had a good game.
Thought Tommy Smith was excellent for them as well, top centre back he is

That's amazing if they don't appreciate him, he seemed to be involved in everything good they did. Always seemed to be the man who broke up our attacks or the man on the ball playing in there attackers if they were in possession. If they don't want him come home Tabby we appreciate how good a player you are and you'd do a job for us in the premiership when we go up!

They all played well but personally thought the blonde right back was their best player.

That's amazing if they don't appreciate him...

They didn't understand that our defenders were allowed to pass the ball to each other, either, judging by the crowd noises; I guess that they only see defenders hoofing forward. Tabb busied himself, close-marking in midfield - Douglas mainly - and charged forward at every opportunity rather than just hoofing the ball. I guess, if your team is playing regularly on a corrugated pitch, then hoof'n'chase is what you think is football and any player under 6'3" with his neck craned back can't be a good footballer. Horrible stuff reminiscent of Plough Lane.

We hadn't done too great with them of late and before Macca returned? Tabby is over 30 and on his way down and not considered good enough for Ipswich anymore.
Doesn't fit our profile and wouldn't be a patch on the player that left us so it's a big no from me.
