The report was summarised on Radio London the other night and Suarez deserved all he got given the Kick it out campaign objectives.

Liverpool have come out of all this very badly. Suarez has made the cardinal sin of "lying" in a legal process. With his credibility shot it is no wonder the balance of probabilities went against him. If Evra is then believed what Suarez said was completly unacceptable and I can't understand why Liverpool are still effectively saying what he did was OK. This was not "off the cuff" banter.

I know it was patronising, I think ghana are a good team (whereas we are sh*t) and it was a harsh way for me to make a point.

Like I have said before, I am not one for this 'winning at any cost' mentality. Cheating or not, what he did was not in the spirit of the game. Oh, and he is a violent, racist dickhead.

"There are a lot of things we'd like to say and a lot of things we could say but we don't want to get ourselves into trouble. We know what has gone on. We know what is not in the report and that is important for us.
"It is unfortunate that you don't actually know the whole content of what went on at the hearing. I cannot go any further."

Allows him to try and seek a layer of "ITK" credibility to his and Liverpools crass response to the whole process, all very Blatter like it seems.

They have got all this badly wrong and Suarez coming out with a lengthy statement ( or is it the club statement on his behalf) proudly announcing he still feels he has done nothing wrong presumably is saying it is OK to say such racist comments.

I would imagine the FA are shaking their heads in disbelief.

Sounds like he's been reading too much GPG and thinks it's ok to say something without backing it up or naming names. If he feels that strongly about it, he should tell us and then accept any punishment :thetruth:

I'm no great fan of Evra, but at least he was man enough to offer his hand to a the player who racially abused him. Suarez is scum, and showed exactly the sort of person he is by doing that. Liverpool have damaged their reputation and shown themselves as completely out of touch throughout this whole saga.

It's been brought in to create additional controversy when two players, who have had a set-to, finally meet again. It certainly hasn't improved respect between opposing teams (which I imagine was the "real" reason why it was introduced for league games) and this type of thing just stokes the fires even more. If there hadn't been so much focus on "the handshake", maybe both players would have just got on with the football.
