We've failed to score in 7 out of 9 home league games. It's dull to watch.
I have some sympathy with Robinson is so far as he was appointed in July with a playing staff of 5, none of whom were good enough for the first team.
He might get another transfer window to improve on what he brought in. That might see us relegated.

If you make the obvious correction just under half (well ok...38/92) the clubs have only sacked 1 manager or less in the last four and a half years. Maybe shows the perceived lack of job insecurity is more down to a few clubs being mismanaged than anything more widespread

Would have thought that young Karl is held in reasonably high regard. As such I really cannot see why he would go anywhere near the Charlton job. Obviously if he is successful then it is considerable kudos however the way the club is run he will have a monumental job to get that success

I believe he was humiliated or at least undermined by the owners so I really woudn't think he would return.
Like Karl Robinson, he really does deserve better than Charlton or Leyton Orient's current owners.

Who is he disliked by? (not including little spats with fans). He has an outstanding reputation in the game as a young coach who develops players (i.e. Dele Alli) and wants to play football in the right way....

I find Robinson overrated.
He moans about his low budget every season, getting his excuses in early, even though it's probably been top third in £££s every season.

He certainly had a very low budget for the Championship but failed to keep them up anyway. I can't imagine his budget was lower than Burton's this season.

I will claim the fifth amendment rather than betray a confidence but I'm confident he isn't regarded as highly by as many as you.
He's not been courted by too many clubs over recent months that suggests he's not that sought after and I think Charlton is about right for him.
He was well respected as a young, forward thinking coach some years ago but he had the advantage of a chairman with deep pockets with no knowledge but a passion for football. Fair play he persuaded Winkleman to take Smith on permanently after a loan spell and pay over £30K a week for an unfit, disinterested sub who was a complete flop they couldn't offload.

There was also this myth that he got MK Dons playing football that was good to watch, I don't think I was ever impressed with MK Dons as a footballing side. I'm not convinced there is anything special about Robinson, except of course his ability to recover quickly from a nasty glassing.
