Hard to get that excited about a goalkeeper, but after three missteps (Fernández, Lossl, and Strakosha) this signing comes with real pedigree and a good buzz around him.

If Raya wasn't leaving, Flekken would give him real competition, and it would probably be a toss up as to who started as number 1 next season – that's saying something.

I’d hope that, with his experience, getting the right result would override any thought of providing photo-opportunities for the fans.
