Can the loan not be extended further? Other clubs are doing it.

This is the third month of his loan, it can't be extended past taht at this stage of the season.

The only way he could stay at Millwall is if they buy him.

Mark McCammon

Millwall mate of mine says he saw him at a service station on the way back having been abandoned by the team coach.
Mind you he hadn't sobered up yet. My mate that is not McCammon.

I thought he was a nice geezer though. Sat next to him for a while after he was taken off at Thame Utd. Though sat next to his dad at the QPR game and he even he called him a useless ......

Mark McCammon Plays in Cup Final

Can anyone really attempt to guess the odds that would have been quoted if someone had bet that the Trolley would grace the Millennium Stadium in a Cup Final ?

I really had to look twice when I saw him come on as a late sub.

Really proud for him, great to see an ex-Bee in such an important game.

Mark McCammon

He was horrific...well done and all that, but how is he a professional footballer?

Mark McCammon

Pleased for him in a way. But it does got to show that ANYTHING is possible in football.

Bees even got a mention when he came on. "he's been here before for Brentford"

And he did ***** all that day either.

Actually, bit harsh, fair play to him.

Mark McCammon

Well done Mac!

Bad marks to the Beeb - not only did they fail to mention the Bees, but they suggested that he had no experience - FFS it was his third appearance at the Millennium stadium ... not all the Manchester United players could say that!

He may have come on as sub - but 'grace' is a bit strong!

Still, it did keep me watching what had become a boring game - I hoped and hoped he would score just so we could have a little bit of reflected glory.

Mark McCammon

he would poor quality, although i did notice ronaldo after the match seemed to be asking triple mmm how he did that trick where he takes out the defender when theyre not actually on the pitch.

You should have watched Sky, they mentioned it. But they also mentioned he lost all his appearances there.

Anybody else notice his shot/cross in about the 80th minute which almost hit the corner flag, followed with the trademark wave " Sorry that was sh*t". The Trolley in the way that we all knew him lol lol lol

Mark McCammon

Despite thinking he was one of the worst players ever to grace GP, I was quite pleased for him!

At least he comes back to Brentford now and again to support the boys on days off unlike the majority of 'Stars' and Big Time Charlies we've had down here..

No problem with him getting a medal, it should be in MA's teamtalk every week...Look what you CAN Achieve..if he did!

F*ck me, theres hope that I'll still make it now!

Mark McCammon

Quote from Observer sport "How they rated":
"MMM added physique to the front line. Lanky and lively, he had a good go."
Postcript on his time at GP: he was a really nice guy. When my then 12 year old son asked for his autograph, he didn't just sign, he chatted to him about the match.

Mark McCammon

He did look poor but fair play to the bloke, I doubt any of his team mates at Brentford will play in a Cup Final.

Shows what hard work, and being in the right place at the right time, can do for you.

Mark McCammon

He always tried and was better than Ben May ...Fair play to Marky Mark.

Mark McCammon

I shall always remember his time with us with fondness you couldn't but like the guy, but seeing him play at the cup final against Manu was..well surreal .......in fact it was quite disturbing in a way like seeing flying pigs.

Mark McCammon

Pleased for him. An honest man & pro....just not a very talented footballer :)

Mark McCammon

unbelievable

Will never ever forgive or forget 'that' miss from 3 yards out at QPha which handed Reading the edge  :mad1:

Mark McCammon

Well done Mac

OK trivia kings and stattos

is Mac the first ex-Bee/Brentord connected-player to play in the FA Cup Final???

let the head-scratching begin....

first offering - Steve Perryman?

Mark McCammon

Bee H: I am with you on this in that i can never forgive McCammon for that miss at Loftus Road and cannot believe he now has a runners medal from the FA Cup.

We spent £100000 buying hmi, who knows how much in wages each week, and the one time he had the chance he messed it up. Well that and the open goal in injury time of the LDV Final against Port Vale.

He also had the same "QPR" stylie header v Stoke when he came on....:(

Mark McCammon

:stomachchurningsmilie: Yes, an appalling miss with enough time still left that we could have gotten back into that match.

Don't forget Steve Sherwood - Watford keeper in cup final.

Has their been a Bees connection in both sides of a cup final?

Mark McCammon

lol Laughed out loud when he came lumbering on...

Poor Mac - he really was sh*t for us. But there's something inspiring about the tale of a poor boy from the footballing comprehensive who had his day in the sun...

Mark McCammon

I did like his run when he rounded the right back.

Mind you, given that May (who I quite liked) didn't score many goals for us, could we have done better sticking with Mac?

Mark McCammon

I think a quote from the Guardian sums it up:

"Had the physique that might have troubled United.Had the touch of a man in clown's shoes "

Harsh but very funny.

Mark McCammon

Why do we Brits so love inept fools? (Henman, Eddie the Eagle etc etc).

Despite the fact that if Mac were able to direct a straightforward header downwards we would be in the first division, why do I choose to remember instead the fantastic third goal against Swindon and the stolen 'hat-trick' at Stockport the following season?

A flawed genius :blush :D

Bump!

Re: McCammon criticises Wise and Wilkins

Hmm, would seem to imply that Brighton have no use for forwards with skill, who can hold the ball up, think, pass.....

= Claridge leaves Brighton & Mccammon joins Brighton...

Mark McCammon

McCammon signs for Brigton

"I haven't reached my potential in terms of scoring goals, but now I just need to push on and establish myself, and achieve what I know I'm capable of."

Re: McCammon criticises Wise and Wilkins

all my seagulls supporting mates swear hes doing well for them (to my laughter) even though he is yet to score! how long before they realise?

Mark McCammon

Re: McCammon criticises Wise and Wilkins

Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins told me I needed to get into better positions and to work harder.

"But that was rubbish, because the ball was never coming to me.

Maybe thats why they told you to get into better positions! IE where the ball would come to him

MARK McCAMMON

refused to play second half so they would not let him on team coach anyone else hear this or know why?
