Bull or Price?
The way I see it is that Wilson was only signed because Bennett got injured against Norwich and was going to be out for a few weeks. Whether or not he tried to sign him before that, nobody knows but I think it is more than a co-incidence that it happened at that time. This suggests to me that Scott was happy with Bennett and Phillips and now has even more options with Wilson here until January.

I'm not sure of the exact date it was extended but i'm pretty sure it was at a time when both Bennett and Dickson were still injured.
The last day of the transfer window was september 1st, Bennett's first game back was huddersfield September 12th.
Just a thought guys - having seen Wilson play I think he should be in the team - and I wouldn't mind seeing him play in the midfield.
His runs from defence have been pretty effective and he is a natural ball winner. He has speed and he is capable of incisive passes - he would definitely "beef" up our central area......just a thought ..........!

If Scott thinks Bennett and Wilson is his best partnership he should pick them. .
why dont we just solve the problem by playing 5 at the back and then dickson/foster can push down the wings?
just a thought....![]()
.......we have 3 CB's fighting over two places which is the way it should always be. They will all get their chance, just do not play one of them at RB IMO.
Correction - BFC has four CB's and one loanee fighting over two places.

I would send out Karleigh out on loan.
Keep Wilson for as long as we can and start him at CB.
And who would you drop to make way for Mr Wilson?
Foster is ok at best and has no real competition apart from Wilson or Osborne playing out of position.
Pim and Legge can't be touched at the moment. Phillips started well but he and whoever weren't capable of helping keep a clean sheet for a fair few weeks.
Legge stepping up to the mark has been a huge surprise but a very pleasant one.
It may mean the end of Wilson's spell with us which would be a shame but Legge is ours and will undoubtably get even better.
Phillips can only be back up centre half at the moment at best.
To keep Wilson others would have to be moved on, can't see who and where but AS has a habit of coming up with surprises so you never know.
****ing right son. Just imagine your a forward with those two to beat Legge & Pim) If it were me I'd be sh*tting a brick.Pim has been superb. A very hard looking bastard who I'm sure panto dame Beckford didn't fancy upsetting.
Im sure Keane said Pims was in his plans so for the long term loan Wilson would seem more likely.
But i like Wilson and dont wanna see him go, he'll leave Bristol City and go off and be a hero somewhere else, on a free probs.
lets get him signed up.
It was not long ago everyone was bum licking Wilson and now....?
Assuming they are fit, has to be Pim and Leon for MK. Phillips would be competing with Wilson to be third choice IMHO at the moment. What happens next may depend largely on how willing Ipswich are to extend Pim's loan, but of the 6 CBs we have at present, I would expect at least 1, possibly 2, to have gone by the end of Jan
wilson has been sent back to bristol surplus to requirments
