I think there might be a meeting with Jon Varney and the emergency executive committee vice chairman to discuss this matter and hopefully the vote will go in favour of one taking cash and one taking a card.
Why? Just use a card. Far quicker than a cash transaction. No need for floats. No issue re "discrepancies".

4 outlets where 2 of those didn't have the facility to work properly and one had a queue a mile long and the other a fair few people in it too.
Cup games are thrown in free though. It's a service for anaoraks like me who like their programme unruffled.
Fair enough that makes sense. I just thought a lot of disorganised people like me would probably buy at circa £5 per issue upfront as I am always in too much of a rush to queue at the ground. And like you say, I end up folding it into my jacket pocket or getting annoyed I have to carry it round everywhere with me.
It’s also not very traditional. We have been buying our programmes with spare coins for years and years. Personally, I have taken pride in always having the right change, to ease the job for the Programme seller. “Thank you love”. This is stripping yet something further away, and adds to the lack of the GPark programme-shop, which was such a feature of the place.
That's society now though. I've not used cash for a long time in this country.
And I rarely use it too. Two million people in this country don't have bank accounts and for them, cash is a way of life. There can be a way to provide this, even if it's just one stall. Same goes for buying food.
My experience, cash is a lot quicker.
Only because companies introduce it,. it doesn't have to be like that.
I am happy to buy one at a time direct from the supplier.

There always has been a "limited number" of programmes available on matchday. You don't think that they print an infinite number of programmes, do you? There's also a limited amount of seats, beer, and football on matchdays too. And always have been.
Why not , I use my card loads but cash now and again just to keep it real
Why, it’s so much more convenient to just use electronic payments, to use cash you must first get cash, then whoever you spend it with ultimately wants to put it in a bank? It’s extra effort for no benefit.
As an example there are no cash machines in Brentford High Street now, Barclays, Natwest and the Post Office gone.
That’s against the law. They can say a minimum spend on card but not charge for using them.
They should not do and I would refuse to pay the minimum amount.
Today's match day programme was 3.50 wether it was cash or a card.
Saw three. Outside main entrance, Matchday merchandise stand and one on the bridge to A4. 20 min wait for us as seller types in amount and waits for receipt for each one.
It was a lovely sight to turn into Lionel Road and immediately see Programme Sellers last season. Made it seem like Braemar Road where the seller was the first person you saw (and heard!).
