Yes, he was limping for the last 5-10 minutes. Hope it was just a dead leg. Prior to that, another superb performance from him.

Rico is a bit of an unsung hero. Does all the dirty stuff breaking up oppos attacks then setting up ours. Along with Henrik who could have a better full back pairing ?

was saying that he'd been amazing recently but perhaps still needed to improve his final ball and then he pulled back a lovely ball to Mbuemo in the pen area who would surely have scored had he hit the target.. . Thinking of that one and some of the 3 on one breaks we had we had some incredible chances in the game today!

Would be surprised if he is not on the radar of every single Premier League team bar Liverpool and Man City. This kid is the real deal. Think like Watkins he will eventually go on to play for England.

Another good game from Rico. He injured himself as he twisted, slipped and fell awkwardly towards the end so hopefully he’s ok for Friday.

Up there with the best yesterday. Fantastic defending and full of energy going forward. Really caused their right hand side so many problems.

Unsung hero just like Henrik, never talked about which maybe is good for us because they are our guard dogs of the wings, and the longer we have them the better. Absolutely brilliant this season.

Yep and was in discomfort at the corner immediately thereafter but seemed to have mostly run it off by end. Hopefully nothing serious as will need him Friday

The first player we signed in the new era on a 5 year contract. Just how good was he tonight? To date my fav left has always been Roger Stanislaus but Rico is just pure Premiership class.

He's just so lightening fast even if he messes up he is quick enough to get back and cover. Thought him and Henrik were superb today.

Rico was excellent today. How does he jump so high? Won a load of headers I didn't think he had a chance with. Got forward so well too.. LB is my one worry in terms of cover as I think Thompson is way off his level..

If we had anyone who is even near Rico’s level as under study they would not be happy sitting on the bench or even getting into the match day squad..

incredible again - especially when SB cannot get back and he’s outnumbered again, just incredible

Definitely the unsung hero in the team, apart from a couple of games this season when we have been losing, chasing the game he was substituted in the 80th minute, he has played every minute this season.
His contribution too the team this season is immense.

And this is the crux - he has finally had a full season with no injuries and it shows. Best fullback I have seen at Brentford - if Danny Rose can make a career at PL and England level there is no reason why Rico cant step up and flourish.

Am absolute joke that only one of the "expert" pundits picked him for the Sky Championship Team of the Season - with the debate going along the lines of there being no outstanding full backs in the league :crazy:

I'd say left back is the only position in the squad where we dont have ready made cover. Rico adds so much going forwards and his pace and fitness is unbelievable.

We paid a lot of money for Thompson and he is an excellent prospect who wasn’t intended to really challenge Rico this season

I agree with all of the above. He is blossoming into an outstanding wing back. Defensively sound, outstanding in the air yesterday, lightening fast on the break, and, for me, the one area he has really improved on is his concentration and football intelligence... he makes good decisions, and consistently. All players have areas for development, and his, I think, is consistency in delivering the final ball.

Thought Rico was hugely impressive again. I have not seen a better left back in this division than Rico. A class act.

Yep I thought Robinson was very good first half but we had a lot of joy especially DaSilva in the second.

the interplay between him and Benhrama up the left wing was superb. We tore them a new one down that side.

Very very good again. Always puts in a shift, always covers so much ground. But he’s become very composed on the ball, a much better passer/dribbler than the Rico we first signed.

Considering the positions he gets in, he should be creating / scoring more goals than he does. Can still improve.
