Scored against Liverpool tonight.

I think Hunt, along with most of his other team mates has been sussed by other Prem clubs.Ive seen snippets of his play this season and its poor compared to last.I also keep and eye on his reports in the papers and the last few games have been 4's and 5's.Coppells got £10m to spend in January,it wont buy much these days.Hes scared stiff of breaking the team pay structure and therefore morale, but hes got to do something in Jan as they will continue to struggle.Shame the flame haired midfielder left, hes badly missed

Obviously not Liverpool though :fishing:

He looked like he painted himself with glue and ran through an Oxfam shop

Stephen Hunt (retired)

He was dressed like one of The Rubettes

An absolute disaster, surprised MOTD didn't pick up on it. Call the fashion police- we have a serious offender here.

Guy is going from strength to strength, would be mad to sell, he is becoming their main man from whst I see :)

Stephen Hunt (retired)

He is my favourite PL player. Apart from being one of us, he is different to all the standard fashion conscious millionaires that we see.

He has character and doesn't comform to the norm, something missing from most of them, a throw back to the past perhaps?

Money talks mate. He's getting married next summer so a move may suit club and player.

Stephen Hunt (retired)

who said anything about selling?

Stephen Hunt (retired)

The last time Ivar scored in the 69th minute at the Madjeski, it was a winner for us.

Loser, if his wedding snaps get leaked to the Sun we'll all know how won't we?

Stephen Hunt (retired)

I really hope he does the "ok" or "hello" treatment - he'll never live it down. :D

Stephen Hunt (retired)

After seeing the way he was dressed in his MOTD interview last night i cannot take him serious  That hat made him like an orphan from the set of Oliver Twist lol

Wasn't Martin Allen the man that showed him the door?
Today he's probably worth £5m with no sell on clause. That's right, get MA back at Brentford.

slightly harsh, I think if you had asked most people here that Hunt would go on to become a regular in the Premiership they would have laughed.

Fair play to the guy, he was good for us, not amazing, but gave his all, and now with a bit more technical coaching is turning into a real quality player.

lol you can take the boy out of Ireland but you can't take the Ireland out of the boy... good for him

You mean if he had had Coppell and Wally Downes coaching him at BFC he would have been a better player for us??

Stephen Hunt (retired)

Possibly he just needs/needed to be handled correctly. Don't know if you remember but he was ever-present in the playoff finalist team. And on merit.

Total admiration for him. A great example of maximising his ability through a willingness to learn and a great attitude.

He is now an established Premiership player. Well done.

..............will he get a free haircut??????..............

Sunderland bid up to 3 million now - don't think Reading will let him go for anything like that.

From Hunt's point of view, would it be a good move (unless there was a big salary increase)? While Reading's ambitions are limited, they seem relatively safe, whereas Sunderland seem likely to be fighting relegation - and if they lost Kenwyne Jones for an extended period, I think they'd be in real danger
